You said, turning around and walking away

"I don't need yours too, who told you to get involved?"
He said, making you stop and turn around

"You should mind your business and stay in your prestige world, and stay out of mine"
"I wasn't planning on coming in your world as well, I don't wanna be in a world where you live life based on your financial status"
You said

"See, that's your problem, you think I'm talking shit but you don't actually have to deal with money problems and think about how you're gonna pay your school fees next month"
"That's a problem because you decided it was, not because it is one, you can do anything"
You said and walked away, leaving Mingi speechless; you cried your eyes out while sitting in your car, you don't even know why, you were just so frustrated with everything, hitting your head on the wheel multiple times but stopped when you felt a hand protecting your forehead, you looked up and saw Mingi's hand through the window, you quickly wiped your tears

"Could you go away?"
You said and looked ahead

"Could you stop crying?"
"Why do you care?"
You said and looked at him, fighting your tears

"Because it hurts"
He said, making you froze, you forgot everything in that moment, how to breath, how to speak, everything and just stared at him

"I think I like-"
"I have to go"
You said, cutting him off and slid up your window and drove off, leaving Mingi there, scared that if he had finished his sentence, you would've given in

- A few weeks later

It has been weeks and you didn't get a word from Mingi and somehow that upset you; you shook your head to get away from your thoughts and focus on your computer

"But why hasn't he- what the fuck am I thinking?"
You said and looked back at your computer when you got a notification on your phone
'It's been a while, Y/n'
You sighed in annoyance, it was Wooshin and before you could reply, he called you

"What do you want?"
"I just wanted to inform you that you don't have much time"
"What do you mean?"
"Good luck Y/n"
He said and cut the call before you could reply, you didn't think much of it and thought that it was just one of his pranks, you got another message
'Come to this location at 7pm, with the money'
He said and you were confused, what money? What money was he talking about? You were lost in your thoughts when you suddenly got a call

"Mingi?"
You said and picked up the call

"Y/n, don't do anything that Wooshin said, ignore that asshole, he's bluffing, I won't let him do anything to me, don't worry, just stay out of it, don't give him any money"
"Mingi, what have you gotten yourself into?"
"Didn't he tell you?"
He said as silence took over the call

"Well then it'll be easier to convince you, don't get involved, ignore whatever he said"
"How much money exactly?"
"12 mil- no don't, don't get involved Y/n, I mean it"
"What's gonna happen to you?"
You asked as you heard him sigh on the other side of the phone

"Nothing, I'll be fine"
He said and cut the call, you didn't trust him, so you decided to take the money out, even you weren't sure what you were doing at this point? You didn't wanna admit you care about him but you also couldn't let him get hurt; you took all the money, since now you knew how much and it was easy for you to get that kind of money, and hid your gun in your coat, just in case, you thought and looked at the time, it was still 5pm

"Ugh, what are you doing to me Mingi?"
You said to yourself and waited for the clock to say 7pm

- 7pm

Those were the longest 2 hours of your life, but now you were sitting in your car, driving up to the location Wooshin sent you; you got out of the car and took the bag of money with you and walked inside the closed club, seeing Mingi tied up with bruises and Wooshin and some other guys in suits

"Welcome"
Wooshin said, smirking and standing up, Mingi turned around and looked at you

"Here's the money"
"How much is it?"
"12 million"
You said, throwing the bag at Wooshin and going up to Mingi

"Not that fast, it's not enough"
"What do you mean?"
"He owes me 20 million, not 12, so until you give me the whole amount, he'll stay with me"
Wooshin said as you thought about it, it was easy to get 12 million since you had it, for the rest, you would have to ask your mum, you then came up with a plan, you pulled out your gun, making Mingi widen his eyes as Wooshin smirked and his guys took out there guns

"It's one against five, you really wanna go there?"
He said as you looked around, Mingi had freed himself from the chair

"Run on the count of three"
He whispered to you and you nodded

"One, two, three!"
He said as you both ran, Wooshin sent his guys after you two, pissed; running away from five guys with guns wasn't as easy as you thought, you got shot in your arms, you groaned and kept running when Mingi took the gun from your hand and shot the guys in their legs, with amazing aim and you both lost them as they couldn't run anymore; running to your car as you both sat down and drove away; after a few minutes, Mingi broke the silence

"I clearly told you not to come"
"Did you see the condition they left you in?"
You said stopping the car on the side of the road, Mingi poked his cheek with his tongue and got out of the car

"Where are you going?"
You exclaimed, getting out of the car as well and ran up to him

"Show me your arm"
He said, holding your arm and checked your wound, he sighed and walked to the pharmacy visible across the road, you ran after him, you kept bleeding, making you weaker every second; he soon come out with the first aid kit and saw you barely able to walk, he ran up to you and supported you and helped you sit on the bench in front of the shop and removed your jacket to see your wound, he sighed and took out the supplies while you helplessly looked at him, soon blacking out

- Time skip

You woke up and saw yourself in an unknown room, you sat up and a door opened from the side, the bathroom door, revealing a shirtless Mingi with wet hair, you bit your lower lip, taking the dead skin off with your teeth

"Good morning"
He said as you looked at his wounds, standing up and going to him, cupping his cheeks and looking at the wounds

"Did you treat them?"
You said as he nodded, still surprised by your move, you quickly got away

"How long have I been out for?"
You asked

"About 8 hours"
He said as you sat back down, looking at the time, it was 3 am

"Why do you owe Wooshin that much money?"
"It's none of your business"
"Well, I'm involved now, so I would like to know"
You said, crossing your arms on your chest

"I told you to not get involved, I'll try to give you back your money, just stay out of my business"
He said, signalling you to stand up and go

"What the fuck Mingi? What are you involved in?"
"Didn't you hear what I just said? It's none of your business"
He said, raising his voice, you stood up and walked up to him

"Now, I'm involved, and I won't get out until Wooshin leaves you alone, because I know him, and what he's capable of"
"The most he can do is kill me, and I don't mind that, I don't have much to live for"
He said as you pushed him and said

"Why are you so irritating? You're just gonna let him do that? You're gonna let him win? That fucking-"
"Why do you care, Y/n? Why do you care if I die? Didn't you say people like me can never succeed? What's the point in living if I can't succeed"
