- A few years ago

"I don't wanna get involved in this shit"
"Please, I can't get a prison record on me"
"And I can?"
"You don't understand, my parents will kill me"
Mingi sighed

"Alright, give me the bag"
Mingi said as Seonghwa handed him the bag of drugs and ran away

"I promise I'll bail you out"
He said one last time

- Time skip

"Song Mingi?"
The officer said as Mingi looked up

"You've been bailed out"
The officer said as Mingi got out and the officer removed his handcuffs

"I told you I would bail you out"
Seonghwa said as Mingi was walking towards him

"Thank you Mingi, I'll never forget it, I owe you my life"
"You owe me nothing, just no more "favours""
Mingi said and left

- Present

You were 7 months pregnant now, pretty big, Mingi took care of you, very well, and you were living in your mother's house, even though she didn't approve of it, she let you live with Mingi because you were pregnant

"You want something to eat?"
Mingi asked as you shook your head and rested it on his shoulder

"I wanna cuddle"
You said and showed him you puppy doe eyes as he chuckled

"Alright, let's cuddle"
Mingi said and hugged you and you both snuggled in each other, soon falling asleep

- A few hours later

You woke up by the sound of someone knocking on your door

"Y/n? Mingi? Wake up, let's have lunch"
It was Yasmine

"Coming"
You told her and went downstairs with Mingi after waking him up as well; your mother was also sitting there, silently eating her food, you two made eye contact and quickly looked away and you and Mingi sat down, and started eating when your mother got up and left, you poked your inner cheek and were about to say something when Mingi held your hand under the table and shook his head, you sighed and continued eating

- Time skip

You and Mingi were watching TV when your mom came up to you two and said

"Aren't you getting too comfortable?"
You looked at her confused and saw that she was talking to Mingi, Mingi sat up, feeling a little guilty because he had been feeling like he's taking advantage of your money

"Sit back down, this is not something I'm doing to get something back from you"
You said, pulling Mingi back in your embrace

"And you, I'm grateful of the fact that you're letting us stay here till we get this baby thing settled, but you have no right to say that to Mingi, this is just as much as his home as it is mine, he's the father of my child AND THE GUY I LOVE"
You said, taking your mother aback by the last words

"Love is not enough Y/n, what is he bringing to the table?"
She said, you raged so much, you stood up but Mingi stood up after to stop you

"She's right"
He said, you looked up at him

"No she isn't"
You said as your mother grinned to herself and left

- Time skip

The movie had finished but Mingi went to the room before and you told him you would come after it's finished; as soon as you entered the room, you saw Mingi in the closet, you went to him and saw him packing his stuff

"What are you doing?"
"Proving that I'm not taking advantage of you"
"And this how you're doing it? By leaving?"
You said as he finally looked at you

"I'm not leaving, I'll come back, I promise I will, as a father and a husband who can provide for you both and we wouldn't need to be living with your parents"
"Mingi, I don't need you to provide for me, I'm perfectly capable of doing-"
"I know you're trying to seem totally independent, but asking for help won't make you less, but the thing is, even if you did ask, I won't be able to help, I wanna be someone who can help you"
He said as he finally closed his bag and took his luggage out of the closet

"And where are you planning on going to?"
"I don't know"
Mingi said, as he went to open the door of your room, you ran up to him and hugged him from the back

"Please don't leave"
He put his hand over your hand, that was wrapped around his waist and loosened your grip

"I'm sorry"
He said and went out; everything was so good, you thought this was your happy ending, you thought you wouldn't have to fight anymore

"I will hate you forever!"
You shouted, tearing up badly, falling down on the floor, your heart aching more each second, for a few seconds you just sat there, crying your heart out, when you stood up and decided you chase Mingi; you ran outside of the house and saw his car pass you just at that second, you ran to your car and started it, chasing after him, passing every red light, going over the speed limit, crying your eyes out — everything blacked out...
