I dream a dream of peace tonight

Wake to find it's not alright

My bed is empty, I'm all alone

It seems I'm frozen - turned to stone

Check my phone but you're not there

Your youthful rush- to young to care

You're wild and free like a wing'ed bird

The voice I wish I never heard

And could it be- we start to fade

Left to dreams of yesterday

Your heart a river running free

Twisting and turning carelessly

I'll dream a dream of pain tonight

Wake to find you by my side

Feel your words- your warm embrace

You never cease my heart to race
