Free-- Not To Me

They say the best things in life are free

I've begun to disagree

The cost, the price, the value of life

I've spent too much- a costly strife

They say the best things in life are free

These very things are killing me

We're destined to all die alone

Faded glory- I'm on my own

If the best things in life are free

Why has this charge come to me?

And so it comes- I'll pay your bill

It seems you're willing enough to kill

If the best things in life are free

Why must the agony burn so deep

Bleeding, tormenting, torturous pain

Internal death can't keep me sane
