Forgiveness

Forgivness is a funny thing

And trust is too complex

I've learned to stand on one leg

To forgive but not foget

Happiness a fickle friend

Sadness will never end

Sometimes it feels I'm suffocating

Just praying for the end

Confusion pools around me

Like blood of broken hearts

I'm drowning in my sorrows

My world just falls apart

I trusted him to much

And now I want him back

There's pressure from all angels

My spine's about to crack

Accept the apology he never offered

Remember the hug I never got

Embrace the man that was once mine

And forgive the deed that he forgot
