A/n I'm so sorry about this chapter being so late. I literally feel like everything went wrong (for me and the out fav duo in the book ✨️)

A notification popped up on conans phone. after seeing who it was, his eyebrows furrowed. He abruptly ignored it, throwing his phone over to his trashed desk. He hated to admit it, but he was struggling without his best friend who seemed to replace him overnight.

"Happy now, gracie? I finally texted him about it. " Olivia said ," Now sarcastic as ever. "The two had tried to forget the events of just a few days prior still, liv was still convinced she was straight though very conflicted and gracie was still hopelessly in love she just wished it wasn't Olivia, God why did it have to be Olivia rodrigo. Nobody knew about what they had done, and they'd like to keep it that way.

"Wanna go out for coffee? You look like you could use it," liv said, pointing out gracies yawn and tired eyes, what she didn't know that it was from the restless nights spent thinking about her or them and whatever they were right now.
"Oh, i definitely need it." Gracie grinned whilst getting pulled from the bed they sat on together.

The two walked found the bustling streets of downtown La near where the girls first met at the sour photoshoot. They were mostly gossiping about Tate's new shithead boyfriend
"honestly I kinda think he's cheating he just gives those vibes, also when I saw tate the other week he was there too and he started to like flirt with me and like he's ugly so it was disgusting" gracie remarked remembering that... eventful day.
"And he treats her like shit too. tate called me the other night asking if I wanted to hang out at the last minute because apparently he ditched their date so he could go to the club with his friends." Livie added as they turned inside the small coffee shop on the street corner.
"What do you want, my shout?" gracie asked, jokingly laying out her hand in an elagent manner.
"Oh, I couldn't ask you to -"

"You didn't ask. I offered, " gracie said, catching her off guard, making the flustered girls eyes widen as she began to get even more flustered.
"In that case, I'll take an iced coffee, and maybe a sandwich." Liv said, now taking gracies hand in hers as they walked up to the counter. Gracie aside their order as they continued to discuss the drama around tate.
"Do you know who he's been with in the past?" Gracie asked, breaking liv from her trance that was mostly focused on their intertwined hands.
"Huh, oh, who are we talking about again?" Olivia panicked, giving gracie a dazzling smile across her face as she discovered the girls reaction, knowing she made the singer nervous like she had made her just moments prior.

"I asked you if you knew who Tate's new side peice has dated in the past, livie." Gracie chuckled as she quickly thanked the woman behind the counter and collected their food. Though a small gesture, it was a massive deal for Olivia, even her boyfr- ... ex-boyfriend never thanked service workers. If anything, he'd just yell at them and tell them they were worthless if they so much as though looked at him wrong. As they sat down in the corner booth of their homely local Cafe liv, I thought back to how lucky she was she didn't get her way with her opener and how grateful she was to even have seen or heard about someone nearly as good as gracie let alone the real deal she was so perfect it kind of hurt like physically.

She was quickly ripped from her in-depth thoughts by gracie waving a hand in front of her face. "livvv, livieee you there?"
"Huh, yeah, yep, I'm here," she said with awk finger guns shooting out from her hands out of sheer instinct and anxiety. Fuck why would I do that I seem like an idiot but why do I care this much I never used to.
