Heja's POV:

June 11th (afternoon)

And whabam.

Sara, Maya, and Bea were gone. Rumors are going that they're on Aeolia, but no one knows how considering that Aeolia's very far away from here.

I sat on my bunk, rereading some letters Anathea sent me. In particular, the last one she had ever sent me. April 18th.

Dear Heja,

Wow. Camp is like, normal. I swear, it's weird almost. Nothing's going on. Nothing weird. Nothing crazy. No quests. Everyone's just... being. But in a positive way! It's quite nice here. I wish you were here, but I also understand why you chose to go back. I know you missed your dad. I must've covered this subject a lot in my letters so I'll skip over it now lol.

Anyways, last week we were playing Capture the Flag, and a new kid got claimed. They're a kid of Apollo, I because heck, that guy doesn't know how to stop. Their name is Charley and they go along with Fenris quite well. They also know Dutch, and us speaking in our native languages with literally no one else understanding is really funny. It's like you and me with sign language. The safety of hiding behind a language barrier is something I think we're both familiar with.

Also, I don't know if I ever told you but my letters are readable because Katie always corrects them LOL. I thank her for that dearly (you should too). Dyslexia sucks, but hey, school sucks more (no offense).

Oh well, I hope you're doing great without me. Any tea you want to tell me? Can't wait for the next letter. Cya in June!

I had started to wonder if the letter I wrote after that even got read by Anathea, or if she was already gone by then.

I folded up the letter and put it back in the box. There are tons of letters in them and I think I had sent Anathea an equal amount of them. There's something comforting about the simplicity of it, instead of sending chats and texts. Letters carry more stories, in my opinion. If they were ever to write my story, my legacy down, I want them to write these letters down as well. They're a core asset in our friendship, they're the way we stayed in touch while being unable to see each other in real life.

I sighed. I couldn't wait to tell Anathea about my new girlfriend, Elsa. I didn't write about Elsa on purpose, wanting to surprise Anathea. Now I have no way of telling her anymore.

I took Anathea's totem out of my pocket. Steve and Billie gave me it before we departed, wanting me to have it instead of them. I thanked the siblings dearly for that. The glass was shining again; I had washed it after I got back in the Athena cabin.

I studied the thing, noticing details I've never seen before. There was a core that was tinted more redder than the rest of the petals, like a heart. I rubbed my thumb over the top part, until it turned and I heard a click. A click?

Chris's POV

"Just hear me out, Chris," He said. "How much have the gods ever done for you? I mean. Unclaimed for almost a year? Some of your 'friends' got claimed in their first week, you know. Heck, even their first day. The gods don't deserve us. They don't deserve you. And we don't deserve them. It's time for a new golden age."

I stayed silent.

"A new golden age," he repeated. "With you on the winner's team."

With a flick of his wrist the Iris Message disappeared.

Bea's POV:

"Is that a-" Sara started, but she stopped when the thing turned around. Bare torso, eyes on the shoulders, mouth above the belly button.

"Oh gods," Maya said. "Blemmyae."
