The girls searched for Annabelle. Electra told them about the World of Dreams. She and Stella defeated shadow creatures, but were soon knocked over by a mysterious figure. What was it?

Tecna and Electra were sitting down. "So, Electra, tell me what you saw when you got up from the ground," she said, typing on her computer. "If you describe what you saw in detail, I can run an analysis."

Electra sighed deeply and closed her eyes. "When I looked up at the creature, I could see scales all over it," she recalled. "It had arms and legs, like us, but it didn't look like us."

"Go on..."

"It looked like something that was part man, part crocodile." Electra opened her eyes.

"I got something. The crocodile man is a mythological creature that was created from the oceanic realms. It possesses the elements of earth, water, and the fifth element, which you and I both know as quintessence."

"No wonder I felt some connection between me and it! When it knocked me over, I felt something tingly, almost electric in nature."

"It may have been dark quintessence. It collided with your energy, and it caused a reaction. Did it react to your water element?"

"Strangely, very slightly. It didn't hit me as hard as the quintessence did. It made me angry, and I'm never angry."

"It did?"

"Yeah... for a second. Thankfully I regained composure and hummed. I was honestly worried that I might explode!"

"Why though? Let me do an elemental analysis." Tecna scanned Electra from her head to her feet. "Ah! I see. You are seventy-five percent quintessence and twenty-five percent water. What you just experienced was not just an emotional response, but also an elemental response. You felt angry for a second because of the reactivity between you and the crocodile man. Quintessence is known for being slightly reactive, which is why you need water to balance it out. Thank goodness you changed your perspective on winning and losing, because if you didn't, you'd be stuck in an incomplete Enchantix forever."

Electra shuddered. "I'm glad I love winning more than I hate losing, but I know that winning isn't everything. What matters is living to fight another day."

"You sound a lot like Aisha, you know?"

Tecna and Electra laughed.

"I guess she did rub off on me, but in a good way. Now, how do we defeat this crocodile man?"

"I am not sure. Many people have tried to defeat it, but couldn't. Maybe we can try offensive magic. Are you up for that? You looked a little tired."

"Of course. It took me about five minutes to fully recover from last time, but I feel better now. Thanks for checking in with me, Tecna."

Tecna winked and smiled.

The girls split into groups of four. Bloom, Stella, Flora and Roxy checked around Gardenia Flower Shop; Musa, Electra, Tecna and Aisha ran through the other side of town.

"Quintessence Chick to Fauna Queen, can you hear me?" Electra asked, talking through her watch. She wore a light purple exercise-style watch on her right wrist as well as magic proof fingerless gloves.

"Loud and clear," Roxy replied.

"Any sign of the crocodile man?"

"Nothing yet."

"No sign of it yet where we are. I'll keep you posted."

"Okay. Over and out."

"Musa, do you sense anything?"

A purple glow surrounded Musa. "Yes. I feel very strong negative energy in that direction," she replied, pointing to the direction she felt the energy.

"Come on, girls! Dreamix!"

"Come on, girls! Dreamix!"

"Surround it!" Aisha ordered.

The girls surrounded the crocodile man.

Musa tried stopping it with a sound distortion attack, but it didn't work.

Electra and Aisha attacked together and managed to weaken it slightly.

"Our water-energy spell seemed to work!" Aisha exclaimed. "Nice work!"

"Thanks, cousin!" Electra replied happily.

The crocodile man vanished.

"At least we scared it away," Tecna observed.

"But it will come back," Musa warned. "And it could happen at any moment, so we need to be ready."
