Scout vs Roark

(In Necro's POV)

I smiled as Ash got back up, Ash was right that even though he lost they whoud come back even stronger than before so suddenly Scout walked in.

"Heey umm Roark you up for that rematch?" Scout asked the gym leader holding his Piplup in his arms who looked very excited to battle.

Roark smirked as he saw the pokemon, before saying that he was ready to have their rematch.
Ash said good luck to Scout before walking over to Me, Dawn and Brock to watch the fight and to a surprise I noticed that Paul still hasn't left the gym jet.

"The Oreburgh Gym battle between Scout, the challenger, and Roark the Gym Leader is about to get underway! Each side will be able to use three Pokémon! And the battle will be over when one side's three Pokémon are unable to continue! Also, only the challenger is able to make substitutions! So, let the battle begin!" Ian announced.

"Geodude, let's go!" Roark called. "Geodude!" The Rock Pokémon grunted as it appeared on the ground ready to battle.

"Wow so Geodude's first again!" Dawn cried happily.

"Okay, Ponyta, standby for battle!" Scout called. The fire Type Pokémon appeared from its own Pokéball!

Roark: Geodude + 2 VS Scout: Ponyta + 2

"Pon!" Ponyta sneered. This, Roark was confused by. "I'm sure that Scout knows very well that Geodude is a Ground Type Pokémon, and also that even fire type moves don't have much effect, so I wonder what he got in sleeve!" Roark wondered just before he called out to Scout telling him to go ahead first.

"Use Stomp!" Scout snapped. Ponyta wasted no time to move and ran forwards Geodude getting ready to attack.

"Clever, they're using a Fighting Type move! But, we're still going with Rollout!" Roark called. As Geodude rolled itself forwards Ponyta, the fire Type Pokémon jumped over Geodude before smashing Geodude to the ground with its hows, knocking it out with one single blow!

"Geodude is unable to battle! Ponyta wins!" Ian announced. Roark grew startled by the quick match!

"And they really did it, too! With only one single shot!" Roark whispered. all of the others in the stands grew surprised with the result!

"But how!? I thought that Ponyta had a major disadvantage with the fact that it's a fire type!" Dawn gasped.

"Well, just like Brock said, even though there are some disadvantages, there's always a chance that you could turn it around by using the right kind of move!" Paul explained.

watching the battle. Roark returned Geodude, thanking him for his best efforts. With that, Ponyta started to grow impatient looking around for a new opponent! "Alright, so Onix! You're right up next!" Roark called. The Pokemon appeared as a giant rock snake Pokémon! It roared right at Scout and Ponyta!

"Ponyta use Ember," Scout called as they began the match again.

"Now, Onix! Use Slam!" Roark made an attempt to smash Ponyta down!

"Look out, Scout!" Ash yelled.

"Quick Protect!" Scout yelled. Ponyta defended itself by making a green barrier from Onix's Slam attack!

"Perfect Use Double Edge!" Roark yelled. Onix quickly smashed twice sending Ponyta toward the air with a powerful move!

"Amazing! Onix just used its power right after the Protect disappeared!" Necro gasped with amazement.

"You're right, Necro! But, Onix also got hurt due to the counter attack it had from Double Edge!" Ash explained.

However, as Onix finished Double Edge, it roared with pride, not showing any sign that it's even hurt! "But Onix looks just fine!" Dawn replied, confused.
