Being princess of a kingdom, you grow up with a silver spoon in your mouth and not a worry about money. Not much can impress you when you grow up in a palace and get everything you could possibly want. However, as the princesses stepped off of their private jets, the castle that greeted them took their breaths away. Taraji's eyes lit up, a new wave of excitement flooded her veins seeing the castle in all of its glory. Fantasia stood rooted in her spot with anxiety, but the more she looked around, seeing the other princesses arrive the feeling faded, being replaced with guarded excitement.
Fantasia's parents led her into the castle, weaving their way through the tons of staff carrying all of the princess' luggage and belongings ready to get the young women settled. As they walked, Sheryl babbled on with memories of when she was a princess in the halls they walked through. Fantasia took deep breaths wanting to soak in everything that her mother was giving her, but it all became very overwhelming.
"Hey mommy, do you think I could try and find my room on my own? And you and daddy go find some of the others?" Fantasia tried to ask as nicely as she could to preserve her mother's feelings. Sheryl stopped in her tracks, her face falling a little before giving a watery smile. Her baby was growing up and as much as she thought she was prepared, being in the castle and knowing that Keith and she would have to leave their precious princess soon made her realize she wasn't as prepared as she thought. "Oh mommy, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-"
"-No darling, it's okay. You didn't upset me. It's a mom thing." Sheryl waved it off, taking her husband's hand and a deep breath. "Okay, dad and I are going to find some of the other parents and you go find your room. Do you remember what room you're in?"
"South wing. Red. Crimson." From what Fantasia knew, the rooms were suites divided into two rooms with a common area. The overall suite was a color and then the specific room was a shade of said color. There were 8 suites in total- 2 in each wing - for each of the princesses of the 8 kingdoms. Sheryl had let her know that she had stayed in the north wing green suite's emerald room. Fantasia was a little sad she wasn't in her mom's old room, but red was one of her favorite colors, so she was excited to be surrounded by it.
Fantasia kissed her parents on the cheek before walking towards her room.

Taraji was on the other side of the castle, socializing with Princess Sanaa Lathan of the Kingdom of Eldoria. They had met many times when their father's discussed business between kingdoms, so she was glad to already have someone familiar.
"What room are you in, Taraji?" Sanaa asked, pulling out her map of the castle she had printed out ahead of time.
"I'm in the south wing. Blue suite, navy room. What about you?" Taraji points out on the map and she looks at the red suite next to her's, wondering who she'd be sharing the wing with. She silently hoped it was Sanaa, knowing that it would give them a chance to become friends and she wouldn't have to get to know someone from the basics.
