Jungkooks POV
I assumed Mischelle was from Austin. Maybe because Rick, Blake and No-Neck knew her.
Or because she knew about the Rainbow Rooms secret sake menu. But when we leave the club and hop into her 3 series BMW, she drives us to red brick facade building with limestone accents and floor to cieling windows. It stretches up into the sky of South Congress street and has a simple sign, a box with the words Soho House in simple type font.
Back when BTS was touring heavily in the US, our company tried to book us rooms here since it was members only and would have the most privacy. We ended up staying some where else but the place was expensive, with its own movie theater, resturant, lounge and pool. Glancing at Mischelle profile as she sings along to her blue tooth, I wonder there were specific reasons she wanted to skip the get to know you portion of the night.
We pull in front near the valet, and before she can shift into park a doorman walks around and opens her door. He's an older man with round frame glasses and a gray handlebar mustach. It's giving monopoly man.
"Welcome back Ms.Mischelle" Dipping his head in something like a bow as she steps out the car.
" Thank you Haskins," She smiles politely, and holds her car keys out to the young valet whose oogling her. Haskins, nudges him to take the keys and clears his throat. The boys mouth snaps shut and I swear he literaly wipes his chin.
"Oh sorry, thank you ma'am" The young valet dips his head, taking the keys and quickly hopping in the car. Before he can pull off Mischelle leans down in the window and whispers something to him, tucking cash into his front pocket. He blushes and nods quickly. Mischelle smiles, pats his shoulder and then walks away with a toss of her hair, charms jingling,
"What you say to the poor kid?" I chuckle as she takes my hand and leads me through the giant glass doors. Haskin holds them open for us, his head bowed as we walk by. Glancing over my shoulder I spot the valet staring at us, mouth agape.
The doors swing shut just as Haskins starts fussing at him, "We don't pay you to gawk at our members Arnold,"
"I just told him not to move my shit," She replies nonchalantly shrugging her shoulders. I give her an incredulous look, "What? I like my seat where it is, my radio on a specific station and my volume turned to loud as fuck"
"Uh huh" Rolling my eyes, I whistle as I drop her hand to turn in a circle taking in the lobby. Theres a black industrial style bar on the left, shelves built out of shiny pipping and stained wood. On the other side vintage style couches with plush velvet cushions sit in front of white marble coffee tables, too low for anyone to actually use. Cactuses and plants fill corners, and table tops. The whole place is totally Texas, ecletic with a vintage spanish influence.
"Got something to tell me?" I ask with a cocked brow, gesturing to the fancy digs.
Shoving her hands into the back of her jeans, she glances around before finally looking at me. "Nope"
"Right, no interest in getting to know each other," I repeat her words as she walks up to me,
"Is that a problem Jungkook, cause we could say goodnight now?" She drawls tilting her head up, breath fanning against my lips. Gripping her waist I pull her flush against me.
There's a part of me thats a little distrubed by how steadfast she is about not knowing anything about each other. Coming from a world where fans assume everything about me and literally hack websites to find out more, its a bit perplexing. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, Jeon.
