A whole three and a half months had passed since Jungkook and Yoongi had become friends. Flirty friends some might say, but Yoongi didn't see it that way nor was aware others already did.

They continued their regular tutoring sessions, although Jungkook's grades would suggest that he probably didn't need Yoongi's help any more, but they didn't pay attention to that.

They would hang out when they could at school, of course with Jimin since Yoongi had learned his lesson.

Yoongi wasn't sure why, but Ryujin had stopped talking to him and asking him to hang out, but he oddly didn't feel any certain way about it. How could he when he had the two best friends in the whole world?

Yoongi and Jimin were already in the cafeteria together when Jungkook walked in a bit late.

Jimin smiled at Yoongi talked to him about something he and his father had done over the weekend when Jungkook sat down on the other side of Yoongi.

"Oh, you're telling him about the fishing trip?" Jungkook asked.

Yoongi smiled and nodded. "Yes, of course! Dad tipped the boat over! Jimin, the water was so freaking cold! And you know I hate swimming, well that I can't really swim-"

"I'll have to teach you this summer." Jungkook said.

Jimin snorted. "Good luck! I've tried that already."

Yoongi pouted. "You'd end up yelling at me all the time!"

"Cause you don't listen!" Jimin said.

Yoongi waved him off. "ANYWAYS, hyung had to hold onto me the whole time we were in the water— I don't know how you did it and kept us afloat by the way." Yoongi said as he looked at Jungkook.

Jimin watched Yoongi's eyes as he spoke with Jungkook. They were shiny and full of admiration and affection, happiness and love, but not the kind of love between himself and Yoongi.

He watched as Yoongi blushed when Jungkook patted his head, touched his arm, the back of his neck. Maybe he had been wrong.

Jimin watched as Jungkook playfully scolded Yoongi about something— whatever they had been talking about. Jungkook leaned down, his face in Yoongi's, his voice deep and playful.

Yoongi giggled and blushed, avoiding eye contact with him. Until Jungkook gently lifted his chin and made him look him in the eye.

Jimin raised his eyebrows as he watched them stare at each other for what seemed like eternity, Yoongi's eyes looking between Jungkook's eyes and lips almost like he was debating on leaning in just a couple of inches to close the space between them.

Jungkook sat back and smiled to himself as he blushed a bit, Yoongi doing the same as they now avoided eye contact.

Jimin leaned back in his chair. "Huh..." he said.

Yoongi looked at him. "What, Jiminie?"

Jimin didn't get to answer him, because Ryujin walked up to their table. "Hi, I'm sorry to bother you guys, but Yoongi-oppa... could I borrow you for a couple minutes?" She asked.

Yoongi nodded before he got up and followed her out of the cafeteria, glancing back at Jungkook for a moment who smiled and waved at him, making him blush before he walked out of sight.

Jimin looked over at Jungkook. "Are you two... you know..."

"No. We're just friends, I promise I haven't even been trying. I remembered what you said." Jungkook lied because he had definitely been trying and shamelessly flirting with Yoongi. The way they had almost kissed now about a bajillion times had been driving him crazy and keeping him up at night.

Maybe Jungkook had completely fallen in love with Yoongi like a dumbass, but he really didn't care and didn't want to hear Jimin judge him for it, hell, Yoongi still didn't even know that Jungkook was gay.

At the end of the day, Jimin was waiting outside of Jungkook and Yoongi's literature class for them, smiling when they walked out together.

Jungkook was looking at Yoongi fondly as the younger cutely, and very seriously, punched his arm. "How was that? Did it hurt?!" Yoongi asked.

Jungkook chuckled. "No." He said making Yoongi pout. "Oh hey, you guys, I'm having a party this Saturday, my parents will be out of town." Jungkook said.

"What kind of party?" Yoongi asked innocently.

"Who's going?" Jimin asked.

"Uh well there's gonna be alcohol there— don't feel pressured to drink though. And some people from school... some of my old friends. Just make sure you guys come." Jungkook said.

Yoongi looked at Jimin who was beaming. "Sure! We'll be there! I'll see you guys later, my mom's picking me up today." Jimin said before he said his goodbyes and left.

Yoongi smiled at Jungkook before he grabbed his arm. "Come on, hyung!" Yoongi said as he pulled the elder boy off to his car.

"I'm home-! Oh shit, I forgot. He said with a giggle as he and Jungkook took their shoes off by the door before walking into Yoongi's apartment.

"Yoonie, you always forget that your parents aren't home on Mondays." Jungkook said as he headed towards Yoongi's room.

Yoongi smiled as he followed him, setting his back on his bed as Jungkook sat down on it. Yoongi walked over to his closet and pulled out a plain white shirt and a pair of basketball shorts before he started to take his uniform off.

Jungkook tried his hardest not to look, but failed miserably. Gawking as the younger stripped down to his underwear. Jungkook gulped and rubbed the back of his neck as Yoongi pulled his shirt on and pulled his shorts up.

Yoongi walked over and sat on his bed. "Should we start studying for that test next Monday since we won't get to it Saturday?" Yoongi asked.

"Uh, yeah... that's fine..." Jungkook said as he looked Yoongi over. Today seemed different. The air seemed thicker, hotter, maybe it was the changing weather.

"Want me to quiz you?" Jungkook asked.

Yoongi smiled and nodded, relaxing back on his hands as he waited for the first question.

They went through a couple questions before Yoongi got an answer wrong.

"What?!" Yoongi whined. "I thought that was right!" He said.

Jungkook shook his head as he got up and sat down next to the younger, showing and pointing out the right answer to him.

Yoongi pouted before he looked up at Jungkook. Jungkook looked back at him and blushed. Despite Jungkook blocking a little bit of the sun, it still shine through and hit Yoongi in just the right ways, making his eyes shimmer and sparkle in the sunlight.

They were just staring at each other, the only noise coming from outside. Jungkook watched as Yoongi looked his face over, not missing the fact that he glanced at his lips.

Jungkook looked down at Yoongi before he did something he considered really stupid.

But Yoongi's lips were a pretty shade of pink, they were plump and glistening in the sunlight, it seemed sinful not to kiss him.

Not wanting to be any more of a sinner than he already was, that's what he did.
