The whole time they were eating, Yoongi couldn't help but think of the interaction between his mother and Jungkook.

He looked over at Jungkook as the elder picked up a container of food and put more on Yoongi's plate before putting the rest on his own.

Yoongi took a drink of his soda before setting his chopsticks down and folding his hands together on his lap.

"Hyung?" He asked.

Jungkook looked up at him with his big eyes, it was kind of cute, but Yoongi brushed that thought away quickly.

"Were you... flirting with my mother earlier?" Yoongi asked, making Jungkook almost choke on the food in his mouth.

"Huh?! What?! No! I'd never do that!" Jungkook said.

Yoongi sat back and studied him. "Why? I thought you said she was beautiful, lovely, kind-"

"I also said I understood where you get your looks from." Jungkook said expectingly, raising his eyebrows as he waited for Yoongi's response.

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. "So you are attracted to my mother?" He asked.

"No! No no no." Jungkook sighed softly. "Yoongi-yah, it was just a compliment, I promise." He said.

Yoongi nodded. "Okay, I'll show you to my room then I'll come back out here and clean up." He said.

"I can help you." Jungkook said as he stood up.

Yoongi stood up and shook his head. "It's okay, my dad will be back soon and my mom told me to help him with his lu-"

Yoongi's head turned as the front door opened. He immediately started to clean up. "Come on." He said as he set their dishes in the sink before leading Jungkook to the living room.

"Hi Dad." Yoongi said.

His father looked between them. "Oh! Hello, Yoongi..."

"Dad, this is Jeon Jungkook." Yoongi said, watching as Jungkook bowed and shook his father's hand as they exchanged pleasantries.

"Thank you for letting me come over, sir." Jungkook said. "I noticed your baseball caps over the TV." Jungkook said, making Yoongi's father smile before they started to talk about the sport.

Yoongi looked over at Jungkook who subtly gestured towards the dining room. Yoongi snuck away to finish cleaning up. When he was done, and had heated up his father's food, they were still talking when he came back.

"Yoongi! Jungkook here loves sports almost as much as me! Isn't that wonderful?!" His father said.

Yoongi smiled and nodded. "Yes, dad, but we should go get started." Yoongi said as he handed his father the bento box.

"Oh, thank you, Yoongi. And yes, you boys go get to work." He said as he sat down in his chair and turned the TV on.

Yoongi nodded towards the small hallway to their right before they walked that way. Yoongi turned his light on and pulled the extra chair out of the elder. He sat down at his desk and watched as Jungkook pulled his books and notebooks out.

Yoongi took them and opened them up. First the text book to the right chapter. Next, he picked up Jungkook's notebook.

Jungkook was busy looking around Yoongi's bedroom, the younger had a bookshelf filled with books of all sizes, his bed was over by a window where the fire escape was. Jungkook tilted his head to get a better look out the window, seeing a wide piece of plywood with a big telescope on top.

Jungkook figured the plywood was to keep the telescope even.

Jungkook turned to the younger and smiled. "You like astronomy?" He asked.

Yoongi looked up at him from Jungkook's notebook, which he had been looking through, not for his notes but for his little amazing doodles on every page.

"Oh, uh yeah kinda, you draw?" Yoongi asked as he pointed to a little drawing of Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse, looking as if they had been Jungkook's characters all along.

"Yeah. And paint and sculpt... pretty much anything artistic. Except animation, that's my next task." Jungkook said with a smile. "And what did you mean by kind of?"

Yoongi looked at him before glancing to make sure his bedroom door was closed. He looked back at Jungkook before he smiled. "Nah, it's nothing... it's stupid." He said before he began to pull out his own notebook.

Jungkook waited this he looked over at him to speak again. Their eyes locked. "I doubt it's stupid, Yoongi-yah."

Yoongi chuckled a bit before he rubbed the back of his neck. "I use it most of the time... to try and see God." Yoongi said softly. "To see if I can find anything the smallest of things even... to prove... so I believe- I mean I believe-"

"But not blindly. You have some doubts?" Jungkook asked.

Yoongi looked away shamefully and nodded. He blushed as Jungkook's warm hand gently clasped down on his shoulder.

"It's okay, I've been there too. You just have to discover your faith and discover yourself, it might take a long time, might be tomorrow, or a hour from now. You'll know when. And if you lose faith... that's okay too. I'm sure God hears your prayers and your questions, he'll help you someday." Jungkook said.

Yoongi looked over and stared at Jungkook for a moment, the elder looking right back at him. It almost felt like time stopped until a shout from the living room brought them out of it.

Jungkook looked at the door. "Is he okay?" Jungkook asked.

Yoongi smiled and nodded. "Yeah, he's probably watching golf." They both laughed a bit before turning back to their books and studies.

It was finally time for Jungkook to head home, even though both boys wanted to spend more time together.

Yoongi and Jungkook were on the elevator together, talking about art and constellations. They walked out to Jungkook's car together, Jungkook opening the passenger side door and putting his backpack in the seat before turning to Yoongi.

"Today was fun, thank you for having me over." Jungkook said with a smile.

Yoongi smiled back. "It was fun and it was no problem, thanks for the food, it was really good." He said before he looked down at his shoes.

Jungkook reached out and patted Yoongi's head, smiling as the younger looked up at him from underneath his bangs, a small shy smile on his face, his cheeks a light pink color.

"Ah Yoongi-yah~" Jungkook said a bit teasingly and flirtatiously as he ruffled Yoongi's hair.

Yoongi laughed and smiled wide, his blush spreading across the bridge of his nose as he playfully swatted Jungkook's hand away and stepped back, fixing his hair.

"Aish, hyung~!" He said in a pouty tone, making Jungkook laugh as he got glared at.

"Cute... I should go, my mom is probably worrying about me." Jungkook said as he played with his car keys.

Yoongi smiled and nodded. "Okay hyung." He said as he watched Jungkook walk around to the driver's side.

"Oh! Hyung!" Yoongi said.

Jungkook looked over at him. "Yeah?"

"Uh... just... I'll see you Monday, we can make a tutoring schedule at lunch or something." Yoongi said.

Jungkook smiled. "Okay. Bye Yoongi-yah." He said.

"Hyung!"

Jungkook stopped midway of getting into his car. He got back out and looked over at Yoongi. "Yes?"

"Text me when you get home." He said.

Jungkook smiled and nodded. "Will do, bye Min Yoongi." Jungkook said with a slight smirk before he got into his car, started it, then left.

Yoongi smiled to himself as he walked back inside of his apartment building.
