January 2023
POV: Reneé

As the 15th of January dawned, anticipation filled the air as we gathered at the airport, ready to embark on our journey to London. Nic, André, Josh, y/n, Prescilla, Bella and I congregated amidst the bustling terminal, excitement palpable in the air as we prepared to board the plane.

Prescilla, called out instructions, her voice cutting through the din with authority. "Alright, everyone, let's make sure we have all our documents ready. We don't want any last-minute hiccups," she reminded us, her tone a blend of professionalism and warmth.

Nic, chimed in with a grin. "You heard the boss, folks! Let's keep the energy up. London awaits!" he exclaimed, his enthusiasm infectious.

As we made our way through the bustling airport, the sense of camaraderie among us was palpable, a shared sense of purpose guiding our steps.

Settling into our seats on the plane, I found myself seated next to Y/n, a sense of familiarity and comfort settling over me. We engaged in conversation, the easy banter flowing effortlessly between us as we discussed everything from music to our favorite travel destinations.

As the flight took off, we decided to pass the time by watching a movie together. With headphones in place, we synchronized the start of the movie, the glow of the screen casting a warm light in the dim cabin.

Midway through the movie, exhaustion crept in, and Y/n's eyelids began to droop, I noticed Y/n gradually leaning into me, her head finding a comfortable spot on my shoulder. A soft smile tugged at my lips – it was an unexpected yet endearing moment. As the movie played on, I couldn't help but steal a glance at Y/n, her peaceful slumber enhancing the charm of the scene.

The descent into silence allowed my thoughts to wander. The events of the past weeks played out in my mind like scenes from a movie – the birthday celebration, the subtle flirtations, and now, this unexpected moment of closeness at 30,000 feet.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turned to see Bella with a knowing smirk. "Caught in a sweet moment, huh?" she teased, glancing at Y/n's sleeping form.

I chuckled softly, appreciating the light-hearted camaraderie. "Just enjoying the journey, Bella. You know how it is."

She winked playfully. "Oh, I do. And it seems like you're not the only one."

As the movie drew to a close and the plane continued its journey through the night sky, I found myself slowly drifting off to sleep.

The London show was a dream come true for me. Stepping onto the stage in a city with such rich musical history filled me with excitement and nerves in equal measure. As the lights dimmed and the crowd erupted into cheers, I knew this was a moment I would never forget.

The music started playing "Everything to Everyone". The crowd cheered and applauded when I walked into the stage.

The first song ended and I turned towards the crowd. "London, how is everyone feeling?"

The crowd went wild and the applause was loud.

As the night unfolded, each song carried its own energy and emotion. From "Moon" to "Don't Tell My Mom," the crowd was with us every step of the way.

"I love the energy you're bringing tonight, London!" Reneé started.

"But before we continue, I want to take a moment to introduce someone very special. Please give a warm welcome to our newest addition, Y/n, on drums" I said turning and pointing in y/n her way. Y/n was smiling and waving at everyone.

I started singing my next song from the setlist.

"So what can I do? Ooh, ooh oh
So you feel it too? Ooh, ooh oh
'Cause I just wanna say it but I'm scared if I do
You weren't looking at me the way I look at you"

During the performance I kept glancing over at y/n behind the drums. She looked really excited this whole night.

"I'm sorry but I'm picturing you kissing my neck
You coming over late at night to be in my bed
'Cause I swear that you feel it, but then I second guess
I don't know if you see us how I do in my head
I'd give you everything (mm)"

At this point she saw me looking and kept the eye contact going. After a few seconds I shyly look away. I needed to focus again, so after the song was finished I quickly introduced the next one.

"It's time for one of my favorite songs I wrote so far, here is in the kitchen" I said.

"But now it's just me
And a hundred square feet of bittersweet memories
Deleted the playlist
But I still hear all your favorite melodies"

I turned the microphone towards the crowd and they all yelled out "Strangers, to lovers, to enemies"

As the night drew to a close I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude wash over me.

"London, you've been absolutely incredible tonight! Thank you for sharing this moment with us!"

"Thank you to the venue for getting everyone in safely"

"And now my favorite part. Pew pew pew, Andre on guitar, y/n on drums, nic on keys and Josh on guitar"

As I stepped off the stage, the echoes of the night still ringing in my ears.

"That was incredible" Y/n said.

A/n: I am so excited to write about all the sexual tension between them. They will be bold and flirty!!

Also synchronizing a movie on the plane is a love language :))
