TW: A handjob joke... yeah

Yeah, the TWs are getting dry ig, I'll spice them up soon dw

Wednesday 10:19

John Laurens was slouched over his phone, his eyes glued to the screen as he scrolled through social media.

The fluorescent lights overhead were making his eyes hurt, but he couldn't tear his eyes away from the screen.

Suddenly, he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder, and he flinched in surprise.

Irritation welled up inside him, but he tried to keep it in check by taking a deep breath.

When he looked up, he saw a young man standing in front of him, looking lost and confused.

The man's hair was a mess, and his clothes were rumpled, but he had a bright smile on his face.

John felt a twinge of annoyance at the interruption but decided to act like he wanted to talk anyway

"Excuse me," the man said tentatively, "I was told that you're the person to ask about this job."

John sighed inwardly, knowing that he was not the right person to ask, but he decided to do his best to help.

"I'm not an employee trainer, but I'll do my best to help you," he said with a forced smile.

Alexander looked at John with a confused expression, "So, teach me your ways..." he trailed off, not knowing what to say next.

John looked at Alexander and couldn't help but notice how unkempt he looked. Like he hadn't slept in a week.

"Sure," John said with a shrug, "I can show you around." As they walked over to the drive-thru area, John couldn't help but feel a sense of boredom.

He explained his job duties to Alexander, but he wasn't interested in what he was saying.

Alexander, on the other hand, was fascinated by everything and asked a lot of questions.

John noticed how Alexander's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and how his smile was infectious.

That's going to fade soon

Alexander noticed the way John's freckles danced on his face when he smiled, and how his laugh sounded like music to his ears.

He imagined what it would be like to hold John's hand and feel his warmth.

He was in love with John, but he knew that John didn't feel the same way.

Falling in love with straight people suck

When another co-worker, Thomas, walked up to John and put his hand on his shoulder, Alexander's heart sank a little.

"How are you and your boyfriend doing?" Thomas asked, messing with John's hair.

Alexander's face fell, and he tried to hide his disappointment.

Despite the pain he felt, Alexander couldn't help but imagine a future with John.

He pictured them living together in a cozy apartment, with the sound of their laughter filling the air.

He knew he would have to be patient,

he was willing to wait for it.

"Wait- boyfriend!?" Alexander blurted out before thinking,

John looked up, forgetting Alexander was there. "No, we are just talking right now but-"
