“i was , and the reason is because i have something to give you.” he explained , sliding me a small square shaped box , i went to open it but he told me to wait , wait until he was done explaining the reason for this box.

“okay…” what was in the box?

“in that box is a bracelet from your grandmother on your father's side of the family ,” zeno started explaining ,

“a bracelet from grandmother?” you mumbled under your breath , trying to understand it better ,

“and that bracelet gets passed down to ever first born female in the kamiya clan , and since ryuunosuke has only brothers , he got it to give to his daughter , otherwise you , so now you get to give it to your first born daughter when you have one.” he finished ,
but why was it given to you now? why not earlier? you had all the these questions running through your head until ,

“father never looked through the box it was kept in until now , [name]. that's why you got it so late. i meant to give it to you the same day you got your ears pierced , but father never went through the box even though he said he would.” your father told you releasing you from your train of thought , you turned to him in surprise as you never noticed that he was there in the first place ,

“how long have you been there papa?” you asked him , turning your body to face him completely.

“since you walked through the door.” he told you with a cheeky smile on his face before getting up and sitting back down next to you. he then aggressively , but gently , turned your body back around to face the table to continue explaining ,

“once you open the box the bracelet is yours [name] , and since you do not have the same birthday as my mother , all you'll have to is change the birthstone and birth flower , okay?” he fished the explanation of the bracelet and handed you the box since he had taken it into his own hands during the explanation.

“okay.” you said bracing yourself , ‘once i open this , it'll be mine.’

and with that final thought you cracked open the box to see your newfound jewelry , this being your second piece since you only have your ears pierced.

with the box being fully opened you saw a silver bracelet with a star charm in the middle of the bracelet while the bracelet itself was in the middle of the box , at the top of the box you saw twelve different birthstones for each month ,

january’s being garnet , february's being amethyst , march's being aquamarine , april's being diamond , may's being emerald , june's being alexandrite , july's being ruby , august's being peridot , september's being sapphire , october's being tourmaline , november’s being topaz and december’s being blue topaz.

and on the bottom of the box the birth flowers for each month as well ,

january’s being carnations and snowdrops , february's being violets and irises , march’s being daffodils and jonquils , april’s being daisies and sweet peas , may’s being lilies of the valley and hawthorns , june’s being roses and honeysuckles , july's being delphiniums and water lilies , august’s being gladiolas and poppy's , september's being asters and morning glories , october’s being marigolds and cosmos , november’s being chrysanthemum and december’s being hollies and narcissus.

each month that had two flowers were on the same ring that could slide onto the bracelet , the same goes for the birthstones.

after looking through all of the stones and flowers your father had few more things to say before you could pick up your stone and flower(s) ,

“make sure to take good care of the bracelet and its charms , no matter what. okay?” he told you , raising his right hand pointer finger as an indicator to listen.

“okay! i promise to take care of the bracelet and its charms.” i promised him , raising my right hand in sincerity before looking back at my new bracelet and all its twenty-four charms.

as i was looking through the charms once more a question had popped up in my head , but before i got to ask , papa beat me to the punch just like uncle sil did earlier ,

“i have a whole collection of charms for you to look through but for now just worry about the stone and flower(s) charms.” he told me before getting up and exiting grandpa zeno’s room.

“i never get to ask the question i wanna ask” i said to noone in particular , with a slight pout on my face , but since grandpa zeno was in the room he had heard me ,

“what do you mean?”

“uncle sil did it to me before i got to your room grandpa! i was gonna ask where you were at since you weren't with silva , but it's like he read my mind! and then papa did to me just a bit ago! i was gonna ask him if there were any other charms i could use to add onto these or if i had to go and buy my own , but he didn't even let me ask!” i rambled on while taking the bracelet , my stone and flower(s) out of the box they were in and sliding them on the way i wanted them.

“calm down [name].. you're just a very easy person to read with questions like that.. since they're so blatantly obvious.” grandpa told me while helping clip my bracelet to my preferred tightness , and then adjusting it to a certain point.

“man… why do you always have to be right grandpa.?” i huffed out in slight annoyance , but grateful nonetheless.

“and thank you for helping me clip the bracelet.” i thanked him before closing the box and heading out of his room , just before i turned back and bowed.

i then started walking down the long hallway , the same hallway i walked down to get to grandpa zeno’s room , looking down at my wrist that had my newest piece of jewelry on it.

a slight smile etched onto my face while looking at my bracelet thinking about all the charms i could put on it in the near future.

i did originally plan for this chapter to be in par with the first chapter of arc one, but I thought that would be too confusing while reading, bc it sure as hell was while typing and rereading what I had written. so decided to split them into separate chapter.
