JUDE GRACE
"I'm getting worried." I say to my mom.
Calista's been gone for hours and hasn't returned.
My mom purses her lips and crosses her arms, peering out the window to get a better look at where Calista should return.
"I'm sure she's fine, darling." she reassures me. Or attempts to.
I don't miss the worry in her eyes.
Something's wrong. Calista never stays out past ten at night.
That's when pack patrols are done on this end of the border, and she doesn't like to run into the upper's guards.
I pray to the moon goddess that I'm just being paranoid, and my sister comes home soon.

She didn't come back.
Not then.
Or the next day.
Or the following week.
She just disappeared without a trace.

"Find. My. Daughter." my mother growls at Alpha Silver.
"There's nothing we can do Allison..." he says with pity.
"Nothing you can do, or you won't do it?!" my mother growls again.
The Alpha's guards' step closer but he holds a hand up stopping them.
"I don't know who would help..." he tells my mom, trailing off.
She recoils at his words, and I finally take everyone in.
Parker with a worried expression, standing beside our father.
Dad is swaying slightly from foot to foot and also has a worried expression.
I sigh and look at the Alpha's family.
His wife, Luna Lyra Silver, looks awkwardly in between my mom and the Alpha. And finally, Rhett Silver, the heir, just looks angry.
I sigh and drawl my attention back on my mom and Alpha Silver.
"Because of our ranking right? It shouldn't matter if we're Omega or not we're still a part of your pack and we should be treated as such!" she yells again, and this time the guards go right up to my mom.
But right before they go to grab her someone speaks up.
"Enough!" Rhett shouts and everyone's eyes go to him.
"She's right. The girl is a part of this pack. Search parties need to be made and we need to find our pack member." Rhett states and his father sighs.
"Fine. I'll organize a search party. Rhett you'll be the lead of the first one. And let me say this loud and clear, no one leaves the territory." The alpha says, saying the last bit in his Alpha tone.
"Yes Alpha." the Alpha's guards say, following Rhett out of the room.
"Thank you, Alpha." my mother says, lowering her head in respect.
He nods once and the Luna and him walk out of the room.
"Let's go. I wouldn't mind shifting and seeing if we can smell any of Calista's scent." my mom says, exiting the room as well.
I follow behind.
My wolf and I miss our sister.

I try not to let my nerves take over more than they already have but it's no use.
Calista's been gone for a week and she's nowhere to be found. Her scent is gone completely, making it impossible for us to find her, and we can't leave the territory without an upper and the Alpha already said no leaving the territory.
There's absolutely nothing anybody can do.
Please please please bring my sister home.
I pray to the moon goddess.
Please.
