In the innocence of youth, we danced in love's embrace,
But on that airbase, betrayal left its trace.
Amidst cadet drills, on a cold and barren field,
Love shattered, wounds deep, refusing to yield. Each step on the tarmac echoed heart's despair,
As lies and deceit poisoned the air.
In the silence of barracks, where shadows loom,
Self-doubt consumed, sealing love's tomb. With each passing day, the pain grew,
Self-criticism whispered, tearing through.
Worsening depression, anxiety's grip tight,
Body and soul, consumed by the night. In the mirror's reflection, flaws magnified,
Every imperfection, a cruel divide.
Betrayal's touch left scars unseen,
A shattered spirit, trapped within. On that airbase, love's demise,
Left behind tears, endless cries.
Haunted by shadows of what once was,
Pain's cruel grip, a relentless buzz.Even amidst the wreckage of shattered dreams,
Hope flickers, however dim it seems.
For in the depths of despair, strength can rise,
A phoenix from ashes, to claim the skies. In the blush of youth, our love bloomed bright,
But on that airbase, darkness blotted out the light.
Amidst cadet drills, on cold and unforgiving ground,
Betrayal's venomous sting left scars profound. In the silence of barracks, where secrets lie,
The shadow of SA whispered, refusing to die.
Each step, a reminder of trust betrayed,
Love's tender petals withered and decayed. The weight of shame bore heavy on the soul,
Self-criticism's voice, taking its toll.
Depression's grip tightened, anxiety's embrace,
As body and mind bore the scars of disgrace. In the mirror's reflection, a shattered image stared,
Innocence lost, a heart bared.
Betrayal's touch, a wound unseen,
A soul shattered, in the depths of the obscene. On that airbase, where dreams once soared,
The specter of SA left hearts torn and floored.
But even amidst the wreckage of shattered trust,
Hope's ember flickered, refusing to rust. For survivors rise, resilient and strong,
In the face of darkness, they still belong.
Through pain and trauma, they find their way,
A beacon of courage, come what may.As this month marks the five-year span,
Since betrayal's grip upon our plan.
In the passing of days, the wounds may heal,
But memories linger, refusing to conceal.Five years have come, five years have gone,
Yet the pain persists, relentless and strong.
In the echoes of time, the scars remain,
A testament to love's enduring pain.Amidst the shadows, a glimmer of light,
A beacon of hope in the darkest night.
For survivors rise, resilient and bold,
Finding strength in the stories untold.Though the anniversary brings memories bitter,
It also reminds of resilience, a flickering ember.
In the journey ahead, may healing unfold,
And may love's warmth replace the cold.
