In the twilight's hush where shadows play,
Bats take flight at the close of day.
Their wings unfurl in the fading light,
Guided by instincts, they soar in the night.
In the depths of my essence, a whisper stirred,
A yearning for authenticity, longing to be heard.
Arriving in a realm where lines were drawn clear,
I felt adrift in shadows, held by fear.
Like the bat who dares to take flight,
I felt the stirring of a newfound insight.
In the caverns of my own soul's expanse,
I searched for the courage to embrace the chance.
A name given to me, a label I wore,
But it didn't fit right, it left me wanting more.
So I delved into depths, faced fears head-on,
To uncover the truth that had long been foregone.
With each beat of my heart, a revelation unfurled,
As I embraced the essence of my own inner world.
No longer confined by societal norms' decree,
I embraced the path to set my spirit free.
With trembling hands and a soul laid bare,
I shed the old name, released it to the air.
And in its place, I chose one anew,
A name that resonates, that feels deeply true.
With each syllable spoken, a weight lifted away,
A sense of liberation, a brighter day.
For in that moment of rebirth and embrace,
I found solace and strength in my newfound grace.
So let the bats in their nocturnal flight,
Be a symbol of transformation's might.
For in the darkness, we find our truth,
Embracing our essence, reclaiming our youth.
With wings outstretched and hearts unbound,
We rise above, with a newfound sound.
No longer tethered to shadows of the past,
We soar with purpose, free at last.
