"Hey kiddo " I said as Callie walked downstairs

"Hey" she said , her tone a bit off

"You okay?" I asked

Cole and Tate had to leave early and Shay had a court case , my arm was still fucked up and all the kids were abt to leave for school

"Yea I just feel - idk" she said

"Mkay," I said and looked at her

"Wait Callie look up" I said

Her eyes had yellow in it, my vision is pretty fucking good and my eyes do t deceive me.

"Look side to side" and said holding her under eye down

"Hmm okay" I said pulling out my phone and taking a picture

I felt her forehead and it was a bit warm but nothing unusual.

"Call me if u feel ill okay?" I said and she nodded

"Bye !" I said

"Adios!" They all said back

I sent the pics to Cole knowing he won't respond for a while.

I cleaned up the house a bit and sat down in Cole's office to get some work done.

My phone pinged as I was typing .

It was from Cole

"Hmmmm okay keep a close eye on her when she is back from school 🙏. I won't be back at lunch but if she doesn't feel well lmk" he said

"No problem I will" and sent the message.

I went back to work .

"Ugh" I said to myself as I typed up a report for a case.

Dealing with things like drug busts , human trafficking, mass murder cases are all interesting and obviously not good things , but typing up the report for them is something you don't want to be doing

After typing after typing and typing a bit more , I had finished my work.

Then I realized

"ACE!" I yelled and got up quickly

Luckily he was still fast asleep.

"Phew" I said to myself

I sat on the sofa and re heated some pizza and Ace had woken up

"Hey Ace!" I said picking him up

He indicated he wanted food so I pre heat his lunch Indiana made and put him in his high chair.

He ate some lunch and so did I whilst having to watch paw patrol.

" Ace!" I said

He looked at me

"You done?" I said looking at his completely empty plate

"Okay" I said

I cleaned up his dishes and took him to his crib

I made him a bottle to which he fell asleep . So thank god I can watch some tv

Lola came and sat by me too

After a while I was pretty tired so I turned off the tv and scrolled on insta.

Ace had a rolling crib so I decided to bring it into the living room to keep a close watch on him.

I layed on the sofa scrolling on my phone and fell asleep.

I felt so off today. I had no appetite which is usual but , I just knew something was wrong but , for the entire day I ignored it .
