Chapter 1: The Unlikely Start

Several ravines and canyons cross the expanded landscape filled with the greenest grass and sparkling lakes, bustling with life. Fishes swim through rivers, insects inhabit the plant life, deer drink from the river, and a pterodactyl flies above the treeline.

Down a dirt path is a boy with spiky hair, an abnormally large cleaver with serrated blades in one arm, he walks backwards with a clean cut log piece rolling under him. He has a small blue sleeveless gi and a light blue belt around his waist with red armbands, despite his incredibly short stature, the muscles on his body are well defined for his age. Next to him is an older boy, around his teenage years with an equally unusual hair style. He wears a black gi with gold markings. Instead of using a log for transportation he is simply walking. Although he is carrying an entire lengthy log under his arm. His gi is also sleeveless, accentuating his much more sculpted arms, and the several scars that adorn them as well as one on the lower left side of his jaw, although much more subtle than the rest. He also wore a necklace, it was rather bare but the one thing that decorated it was a small avian-like skull. His face is tight, his eyebrows narrowed, and a look of sharp awareness in his eyes. Suddenly two small brown monkeys drop low, hanging from a tree causing the small boy to laugh. "Just hanging around guys?" He laughs before picking up speed with his log, using it to propel him forward. The most peculiar thing about the boy and the teen however, was the fact they carried monkey tails of their own.
