Plan In Action
Your POV
You had gotten your tray of slop and were walking with your new "team" (note to self: think of something better to call these people) to a table in the corner.

"I gotta plan," Rocket says, "But I need a few things. The guards wear arm bands to control the ins and outs, I need one."
"Leave it to me." Gamora says.
"I need that guy's prosthetic leg." He points to a man with only one leg.
"His leg?" Quill asks.
"Yes, I don't need the rest of him. Look at him, it's useless."
"I got it." Quill says.
"There's a power converter on the back wall over there, pretty useless for this place, but I really need that."
"Leave it to me." You say, sitting down next to Gamora. You look for the converter, a blue little thing that's holding together two cell powers. It's on the second story, but is barely guarded. You look for a way up, besides the heavily guarded stairs, and see a perfect way up.
"Last thing, on the tower on the middle, there's a panel, blinky yellow light, see it?"
You all look over there. "Yeah?" Quill says.
"Behind that panel is a Quarnyx battery, I definitely need that."
"How are we supposed to get that?" Gamora asks.
"I don't know, some of these boneheads here find you attractive, maybe you'll be able to work out some kind of trade."
"You have got to be kidding me."
"No I really heard they find you attractive." You hold back a giggle as Quill speaks.
"Look, it's twenty feet in the air in the most heavily guarded areas. How are we supposed to reach it?"
"I only have one plan and that plan requires a freaking Quarnyx battery so FIGURE IT OUT!" Same old hotheaded Rocket. "Can I continue?" He asks.
"Go for it." You say.
"Anyway, whenever we get that, everything will go into panic mode. So whatever do we need to get that last..." Suddenly everything went into panic mode, you think, and you see Groot handing Rocket the Quarnyx battery.
"I got the arm band."
"Leg."
"Converter." You run over to the wall, with no weapons, minus your hand to hand training, but these guards have guns. There's only one by the wall, so basically you've lucked out.

"Prisoner, return to your cell or we will open fire." You hold your hands up in surrender before sweeping his feet out from under him before he can process what just happened. You grab his gun and shoot him quickly. It doesn't kill him, just electrocutes him like Rocket's gun. Now, you put the gun around your back and begin to climb up the wall, using the indentations in the wall to help. You're almost there when a drone gets near you. You shoot one, but three more come. You're able to destroy two, but the third is shooting, barely missing. Something shoots the drone from the ground. You look and see Rocket, shooting everything in his wake. You crack a smile and keep climbing, reaching the second story and coming face to face with three guards. You shoot two, who both fall backward and the third gets an elbow to the face and the hilt of a gun to his throat. You reach to the converter, and pull it out of the wall, taking all power from two cells.

You look and see Drax, Groot, and Rocket fighting the drones, slowly moving closer to the center, where Groot grows into a ladder for everyone.

You jump down from the second story, somersaulting to your feet, and run to join the group. You throw the converter to Rocket, who catches it and begins to attach it to the battery and arm band somehow. Quill is trying to find a way down. You don't think he understand he can jump down safely without breaking his legs.

You begin to climb up Groot and you feel Rocket hitching a ride on your back as he manages to put the stuff together. Gamora is already up there and you can see Peter and Drax climbing up, Peter holding onto the leg. Groot returns to normal size and you open the door, the guard trying to signal for backup. Gamora pushes him away from the panel as you all approach it, minus Groot who throws him out of the tower.

Gamora glares at Drax when she realizes he's on the ship.
"Spare me your foul gaze woman."
She ignores him and says, "Why is he here?"
"He wants to stay by your side until we get the money, and I always keep my promises, especially when they're psychopaths who would kill me if I don't. Here you go." Quill says, setting the leg besides Rocket.
"Oh I didn't need that, I just needed these three things."
"What?"
"I thought it would be funny. Was it funny? What did he look like hobbling around on one leg?"
"I had to transfer him 30,000 units."
Rocket laughs and continues to work. And then they bring out the bazookas.

"Those are some big guns."
"Rocket!" You say, "Any day now would be perfect!"
"I'm trying!" He yells back.
"I recognize this creature now. We feasted on his kind. His flesh was most delicious."
"Not helping!" They shoot the tower with one gun.
"Rodent, hurry!" Gamora orders.
"Yes, rid us of this cursed confinement." Drax says.
"I'm gonna have to agree with the walking thesaurus on this one." Quill says. Your eyes scan over the guns as they shoot the second gun.
"Do not ever call me a thesaurus."
"It's a metaphor, dude."
"Metaphor's are gonna go right over his head." Rocket says, still freakin working.
"Nothing can go over my head. My reflexes are too fast, I would catch it."
"I am going to die surrounded by the biggest idiots in the universe." You mumble.
Just as they're about to shoot all the guns, the gravity begins to falter outside, and soon enough, everyone except for you guys are flying. You lean next to Rocket.
"You turned off the artificial gravity everywhere...except in here." You say, smiling. He calls in four drones to power your getaway.
"I told you I had a plan." You pet his head quickly and lean against the wall. He looks at you, surprised to say the least, and smiles cockily, continuing to drive. When you make it to the room where your stuff is stored, you grab your clothes and your weapons. Everyone except Quill makes a break for his ship, the Milano, because someone didn't return something to him or whatever.

Maybe you won't die after all.
