"Of course," I grumbled, as literally everybody in the room stares at me like I just killed twelve people. I soon realised that this was the class I had run out of to vomit. Great. I awkwardly made my way to the only seat available in the room. As I got closer to the seat, I noticed that there was someone new next to the seat. All I could utter was a small gasp of awe.
"Wow..." All the disrupting, anxiety-inducing thoughts I had about the previous incident in this class flew right out the window as I looked at this gorgeous human being that was seated next to my empty seat. I suddenly had the weirdest feeling in the pit of my stomach, like a mix of thousands of butterflies flapping their little delicate wings against my stomach and like I was on a crazy rollercoaster going down the steep part, but I wasn't afraid. Their looks mesmerised me beyond belief. But it wasn't the normal, stereotypical 'gorgeous' that you would find in a person.
Their jawline was extremely defined, and with high cheekbones, they were the most stunning person I had ever seen in my life. They spotted me making my way over towards them slowly, and they could tell I was observing them more closely than is usually accepted when you first meet someone. Their bright blue, sparkling eyes drilled deep into mine, and I could tell they were observing me back. I could feel their gaze on my face, inspecting me closely. I looked them up and down, from their perfectly quaffed, short, inky black hair; to their perfect full lips; to their ripped, stonewashed, boyfriend jeans.
They just seemed like so perfect; unlike anything I had ever seen before. It was almost magical, the way they looked. I was in love with their face, if that's even a thing.
As much as I loved their face, I felt odd at the same time as mesmerised.
Mainly because I had just discovered something about myself I didn't know until only moments ago.
I don't know why I hadn't discovered it before now.
I guess because no one has ever looked this good to me before.
There was something about it that felt slightly off-putting at first, but I decided I didn't care.
You want who you want, right?
Even if it's a girl.
