Utopia To Nightmare

He tells the officers that before the horrific incident Kai's life was a utopia. He had a loving as well as supportive sister, parents and grandparents. The family had a great reputation in their community and were respected by everyone. Everyone in the family shared a close bond with each other Sana was not only his sister, but she was his friend, companion, supporter and was even like his second mother but everything started to crumble down after the incident. After Sana's disappearance their Neighbors often gave his family strange looks, some even gave false statements to media about Sana. Even the people they considered their own deceived them. Even the police were reluctant to investigate her disappearance. Going through the unimaginable pain of losing their daughter and the fake rumors about her and without any hope of finding her, made their parents so depressed and soon they committed the unthinkable. Soon after their death Kai's grandmother also passed away. When the officers asked Kai how he knew about their gory act he revealed after his family's demise he took an oath to avenge their killers and so he learnt hacking, made himself a master of it. Since he knew about his sister's IP address and other important details he successfully hacked into Sana's phone and found a video of the murder. It turns out that when Riya had taken Sana to the warehouse for the 'party' she had placed her phone on recording in order to record the 'special' moment however her phone had recorded the entire crime and hence when Kai hacked her phone, he had found the video of the act and hence he learnt about his sister's death along with the identity of her murderers however with even this evidence police did not write Sana missing case let alone her murder case. To make matters worse since Sana's dead body was not found she was not even considered dead according to the government and could be declared as one after 7 years by filing  a petition. Thus, Kai and his grandfather had to suffer throughout the years without any kind of closure.

On learning this, the officers were sure that there could be no other person other than Kai with a strong motive to kill the victims in common. However, on learning the facts some of the officers felt disgusted by the group's act and sympathized with Kai. Some even wanted to close the case but they were bounded by the law and their moral compass. Even Kai's friends were heartbroken on learning about their friend's painful and traumatic past. They also realized the reason behind his quiet and lonely approach in life. They also felt guilty for leaving him alone in his sufferings. When interrogated further Kai denied killing anyone but then suddenly, he smiled and with an evil laugh he asked them if they wanted to know who the killer was indicating that he knew about the killer.
