When the officers asked Kai how he knew that his plan would work, he simply replied, that he simply took advantage of their obvious trust issues just like his. The only difference is that they were capable of hurting someone he/she claimed to love. He also told them that according to him the person who can hurt his sister who was the sweetest specimen of humankind can never be a keeper. He also quoted that when the intensions are pure and right then even God will help and support us and will put light in our path during darkness. The reason he waited for 5 years was that he wanted to ensure that they punished to the full extent of law. Since, he was aware that if the criminal is a minor then they may be given a lighter punishment. So, he waited for them to turn adults, but he felt the results were totally worth the wait.

This probably has the most shocking case in the history of Ayodhya. Even though the mastermind of all the killings was Kai none of his still there was no way to even prove his involvement along with the fact that his involvements (sending friend request, sending one's profile to another and sending a link of results of a test) are not considered crimes according to law. Hence, only Aman, Disha, Riya in addition to Siddharth and Parul's fathers were tried in court. However, along with the crimes they committed they were also tried for Sana's assault, torture, and murder. Therefore, unsurprisingly everyone got life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. It was also revealed that Kai decided to take revenge after five years so that after committing the crime they would be tried as adults and given longer and harsher sentence.

It took some time for Kai's friends to recover from the shock however, with time they emphasized with him and his intentions, they even praised him about how he fought for justice for his family, they often told him that every son and brother should be like him who does not break down with wrongs done to him but instead punishes the wrongdoers. Now their friendship had become stronger than ever and just like the old saying, 'Every level of understanding in a relationship becomes a step closer to heaven' they were rewarded by Kai's real self, which was that of an energetic, lively, and happy go lucky. During their camping trips Kai often sings them songs and just how Sana had said Kai too had a heavenly voice. Kai revealed to them that he always kept his distance as he feared that how his friends would react when they would learn the truth. Hillary who was already in love with Kai now loved him even more after knowing how far he can go for his loved ones finally confessed her feelings to Kai, and hence they became a couple.

Needless to say, now the five friends are having the time of their life......
