The next few days were spent on concentrating on studies and studies only. Tae was unaffected by what had happened and focused on his exams. However, Jungkook's head was tangled and messed. He missed Tae. Now that he touched Tae everywhere, he wanted to do it again, and again, and again, and again.
But he remembered his promise and kept away from Tae. He also remembered his other promise and tried to study a little. Late at night when he would stare at Tae's pictures (his pets had taken secretly) he would end up crying. He couldn't understand how could he miss the boy so much. Eventually, he would end up texting him. But only after sending at least 10 texts, Tae would reply after 4-5 hours with a single text.
Even during exams Tae kept his distance from everyone and particularly Jungkook. Fortunately, they sat in different classes to write the paper and due to only this reason Jungkook at least wrote half of the papers properly. This time he was sure that he would be getting good grades and now just passing in the exams.
Finally, on the last day of the exam Jungkook spotted Tae with his best friend, Jimin. They were heading towards the gates of the university but Jungkook stopped him.
"Tae – Tae – Taehyung," Jungkook yelled and almost half of the corridor stopped to watch their favorite K-drama.
Tae smiled seeing Jungkook walk toward him. Jimin didn't like it at all. He too was bullied by Jungkook's pet a lot in the two years.
"Hey," Jungkook looked at Tae like he was seeing him for the first time.
He was awe with Tae's beauty every time.
"How were your papers Jungkook?" Tae smiled sweetly and Jimin stood confused.
"Good," Jungkook laughed surprised at himself, "They were good. All thanks to you Tae. So um, listen, I wanted to talk to you about something."
Tae nodded his head and waited.
His eyes moved to an annoyed Jimin.
He decided to annoy Jimin even more and held Tae's hand, "Just a minute."
Taking him to a corner, Jungkook sighed staring at Tae's pink lips. How badly he wanted to kiss him!
"I – I – want to talk about us Tae," Jungkook said and felt Tae's face fall down.
"What? What about us?" Tae asked his eyes all doe and innocent.
"I – need to –"
Before Jungkook could finish his thoughts, Jimin appeared and began to drag Tae along with him.
"I have to go Jungkook," Tae smiled sadly.
"Meet me in the evening at the Last Dance?" Jungkook suggested still walking with them.
Last Dance was like a prom night for them. Of course, nerds like Tae never attended them.
"I – I don't go to such things," Tae hesitated and again felt Jungkook holding his hand stopping him.
