Chapter 1

Season 6 episode 5
Invasion

"I feel like I'm in a nature documentary, except this is the part we get killed" Charlotte announced, as she walked through the lobby of the hospital, occasionally glancing around and up at the balcony of blue scrubs staring intently. Standing next to her was the red-haired
girl called April kepner, who seemed to be stress writing in her aged maroon faded colour notebook.

"Wait, they film the killing part?" Kepner said as she swiftly turned her head to look at the blonde."I usually turn them off if it gets to that part?" She explained. Yes, a surgeon didn't like watching animals kill each other (I guess you could say that was the Jesus in her?).
"Uhh yea, they do usually film that? They film anything and watch everything.." Charlotte replied back, a little bewildered by the fact she didn't know that, but mainly distracted by all the stares.
Almost immediately after she finished her sentence, however, another orange scrub came over. Thankfully, this was her brother
You see Charlotte herself hated her fellows in orange. The only ones she liked were Kepner and her half-brother Jackson Avery.

"What are we all standing about for? We gotta hurry up and prove ourselves, so we actually have a chance of seeing an OR today?" Avery would point out, as they had been standing there quite a awhile, no wonder the blue scrubs were staring.

"Good luck with proving yourself they all hate us... especially our scrub colour, it's making it worse," the red hair shared with the trio.

"Cmon? It can't be bad Kepner, look I'm headed to the ER you're coming with me... just leave the notebook?" Jackson replied to her, and shortly after the red head handed her notebook to Charlotte,
and headed to the ER with Jackson "I see your just ditching me!?" Charlotte would say as they walked of
"Go find a patient!" her older brother would yell back before leaving with kepner

leaving the blonde standing in the hospital lobby alone (although alone is a strong word as the lobby was practically swarming with people)

Mentally she was still half asleep laying in bed in her cramped one bed apartment she really needed to move from, I mean her hot water didnt even work right now so she had to have a cold shower, however that didn't stop her from trying to be optimistic about today. Seattle grace one of the most famous hospitals in the area, she was looking forward to continuing her residency here...well if the staring would stop, although she knew that wouldn't happen for as soon as people realise her last names
Madden - Avery
Two of the biggest names in surgical history and up there with the best of the best she was kinda screwed.

    A few minutes later

"Move it? Did no one tell you not to stand around in the middle of a hospital?" (Yes, she has been told that actually) although this time it was coming from an unfamiliar voice, not her mother (thank god). Before she had time to turn and see who it was yapping at her, she would feel him grab her waist and literally pick her up and move her. And as soon as she saw..yep ofc a blue scrub and his white coat reading karev she realised she recognised that name from the locker room earlier.
"Uh, what the hell? Did no one ever tell you to not just pick people up and move them?" Charlotte would say, a slightly annoyed tone as she crossed her arms, giving the karev a stare.

"Yeah, well, you didn't move? Plus your a short ass and a orange scrub" he would say, giving the same kinda stare, although his eyes would glance down at her scrub coat reading "Madden - Avery...huh I guess I know now why you think your so important."

THE LOCKER ROOM
THIS MORNING

Charlie could feel the stares on all of the orange scrubs as she placed her bag and things into a empty locker. However it wasn't such a unfamiliar feeling, she moved past it.

She looked next to see a dark curly haired blue scrubbed surgeon, she decided she'd try be friendly maybe they aren't all out to kill us?
"Hi! I'm Charlie.." she would say with a bright looking smile, as the curly haired women looked up and replied "Christina yang, it's an unpleasant occasion to meet you"

Before she could say something else, she would turn to see a fight almost breaking out between an orange and a blue scrub..?
Dr reed adamson a complete and total bitch against a tall blonde who Charlie overheard them call izzie over a cubby.

"No, Reed stop it!?" Charlie said intervening and pushing in front of reed, who's face looked like they didn't even wanna be here "if they want you to move cubbys it's for a reason.. I'd suggest you move your stuff before I make you, we don't own this hospital so maybe act like a guest for a day or two and be respectful."

Charlie would stick up for herself and also the blue scrubs, giving a glance and a small smile to izzie who would do the same.
She wanted to make a good impression..although seemingly incredibly difficult because all the other orange scubs where a pain in her ass (although ofc not her brother and April)

She would watch as reed moved cubbys, and heard a voice behind her it was coming from Christina yang "you know what maybe it's not such an unpleasant meeting"

Okay so that's progress right?
