The noise, while small, tore through the chaotic ambiance of the common area. Floyd quickly pulled his hand away from where it had been.

A furious, overblotted Jamil Viper turned around to face the perpetrator. Floyd Leech held one bloody, black snake in his hand. He let it fall to the floor, much to the disgust of Grim.

"Eugh!!" he recoiled.

"IMBECILE!!"

Yuu hid behind a pillar, figuring out when to attack. Though, they didn't want to attack.

Not this again. Please, not this again. They thought. This would be the fourth overblot for the year. They watched, making calculated hits to the best of their ability.

Jamil was clearly running out of reserves. He would be fully consumed if things continued at this rate. His voice was already muffling from the obscene amount of blot that he was spewing. His throat was sore from screaming, and he was bleeding down his back.

His hits got weaker and weaker. Jade had figured that his reserves were getting lower. However, he was saving one last attack for Floyd. He yelled loudly. There was no way of getting out of that blast unscathed. Floyd looked surprised. It was rare that someone could lay a surprise attack on him; he was very aware despite his carefree nature.

However, suddenly, Kalim got in front of him.

That only made Jamil more furious. He ranted and raved about killing and destroying every wretched thing who disrespected him. However, his face became pale. His frame swayed, causing the phantom to sway with it. Jade, Floyd, Yuu, and Grim narrowly dodged several accidental flings, and suddenly he just...

Fell.

Jamil fell down, phantom dissolving around him. The snake that had slithered out of his head dissolved as well.

"Ja..mil.." Kalim said, before passing out himself.

"We need well...we can't call Crowley..." Yuu said.

"I will notify the local authorities," Jade said.

Yuu froze in place. Grim hopped off of their shoulder and went to Jamil. He used his paws to cover the main wound on the back of his head. Jade called an ambulance.

"They said they'll be here in a few minutes," he said, "Floyd, why'd you pull that snake out of his head?"

Floyd looked mad at the aspect that it was his fault.

"I didn't mean to! One of 'em tried to bite me so I grabbed it. Not my fault Sea Snake decided to turn around real quick!" he grumbled.

Yuu sighed. They heard the noises of the mirror chamber and footsteps. Good. They were here.

The paramedics took Kalim, Jamil, and some other injured Scarabia students off to the emergency room.

Kalim woke up with a sharp pain in his head.

"Ouchie..." he said.

It took him a moment to realize where he was, but when he saw the white walls and heard the beeping of the machines, he was confused.

"Kalim, thank goodness you're awake!!" Yuu said.

"We were scared you were gone!!" Grim added.
