Forks isn't exactly a city anyone would move to on their own, and there's not much tourist traffic, which is why it's the perfect place for Vince and his family.

Vince Hawthorne isn't just your average high school boy, there's no denying that, but he's not alone. The boy lives in Forks with his family. At least with his adopted family. By this I mean that his father bit him and became a vampire, the same thing happened to his siblings. In Forks, a rainy town where the sun rarely shines, two vampire clans have settled, the Hawthornes and the Cullens. Two rival clans ever since they came together.

The rivalry was so violent that they hadn't said a nice word about each other, mainly because of Vince's father's repulsive mannerisms. The boy had never had much chance to talk properly to members of the other family, only met their children at school.

The kids go to Forks High School, where the battle between the two families also takes place.

Ugly looks in the dining room and mumbles, which of course the other person hears because of their vampire hearing.

Bloodsuckers have a lot of powers, such as superhearing, strength, inviolability, super speed, eternal life, and if you're lucky, you'll even get a gift. There is usually only one of these, but Vince not only has telekinesis, but also the abiltity to shapeshift into anything or anyone he wants to, which can come in handy during combat.

His family is smaller than the other. He has 2 adopted siblings and an his adoptive father. Celeste and Florian are his younger brother and sister.

And his father is Donovan.

The boy's charming appearance attracts all eyes with his tall, kneaded figure and beautiful sky-blue eyes, which is also not usual in the world of vampires since they all have red or yellow eyes, so they can hardly believe that he is one of them.

The two clans raise their children quite differently. While the Cullens are friendly and modest about the newcomers, the Hawthornes tend to strive to be as strong as possible over the other, so that if necessary, they can defeat anyone who stands in their way. They are raised by their father in such a way that everyone else besides them is an enemy who, if there is a chance, must be eliminated.
