𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩:

It didn't take us long to get to the place. I used to come here a lot when I was really fed up with everything and everyone. The place is indescribably important to me, it's like it feels my pain, it calms me, it helps me. No one comes here except me, it's in the deepest part of the forest where not many people wander in by chance. That's why it's the perfect place for me, no strangers or even people I don't want to see. I haven't brought a single person here. Until now.

There was a small stream running through it, but the fish rarely swam. There was also a much smaller waterfall than usual. It had pure water. Dark green grass covered the whole place, sometimes with a few brightly coloured flowers. Pine trees surrounded the place and hid it from people. It was as if you had stepped into a fairy tale, like a dream. A gentle breeze blew in the darkness of the evening, though the view was much better in the daytime as the light on the water was just an added bonus, though it was still a sight to behold at night.

The short girl beside me was gaping, silently analysing the scene. It wasn't so new to me, I was resting my eyes on something else. Her skin was now even more beautiful than usual. Her yellow eyes glanced back and forth. Her short brown hair looked perfect as always, her pale skin perfectly smooth. I had that feeling again that I'd never felt before, in all those years.

So that's how it felt to love. I've never been in love before. I've always wondered what love felt like.

Alice began to run up and down to admire everything. In my eyes she was adorable. I stood and smiled as she did this for a few minutes. When she finally stopped in front of me we looked into each other's eyes and waited for the other to do something. "It looks beautiful." She said softly, looking into my eyes. "Just like you." I said quietly. Only later did I realize what I had said and my eyes widened but she just smiled. "I'm sorry i didn-" i tried to apologize but she wouldn't let me finish. Her mouth connected with mine and they stuck together like two magnets. She put her hand to my cheeks and I put mine to her waist. Suddenly the world around us stopped and I was in heaven. I didn't want to stop. But to my disappointment Alice pulled away.

She smiled. The cutest smile I'd ever seen.

"Thank you for bringing me here. I have to go now." She turned and started to leave but before she could get far I stopped her by the wrist. I raised her hand to my lips and pressed a kiss to it. "Hoping to see you again." With that I let her go.
