Ch 6

Waking up with a start I sit up in bed breathing heavily and my hearts racing from the horrible dream I had. Swallowing I make sure Jack is still asleep before I carefully get up and tip toe out of the room still half asleep when I pause at Donghyuk's door before I gently knock i surprised when I immediately hear a "come in." I open the door and step inside seeing Donghyuk laying in bed with a book he instantly looking at me in concern. "Are you okay?" I pout adorably and shake my head no tears welling up in my eye he giving me a concerned look putting his book away and pats the spot beside him. "What's wrong?" I rush to the bed climbing in tears starting to stream down my face as I say brokenly. "I had a dream that he came back and I was yelling for you but you weren't there." His expression softens and he says seriously. "I won't let him hurt you two ever again I promise." I sniffle a little and hold my arms out saying cutely my wolf in full control since I'm half asleep. "Can I have a hug please alpha?" He looks surprised but gently pulls me closer hugging me I clinging onto him desperately and unconsciously start nuzzling against his chest scenting him. He seems to tense up a little as I scent him I slowly pulling away feeling sleepy I hearing him say softly. "Get some sleep Wade I'm sure you're exhausted." I whine and pout cutely. "Cuddles alpha." He blushes but carefully lays us down holding me and I cling onto him mumbling before falling asleep. "Night alpha."

*that morning*

Slowly starting to wake up I feel warm and content my wolf making an internal happy noise. I sigh happily snuggling against the nice smelling warmth only to pause when I realize the scent is familiar. Opening my eyes I swallow when I see I'm laying on Donghyuk's chest and smell his scent completely surrounding me. Carefully trying to maneuver out of his arms I yelp in surprise when his arm around my waist gently tightens its grip. "Stay." I shiver at his groggy husky voice and I say softly. "I have to check on Jack and I'd rather not have him questioning us about being in bed together." He pouts but reluctantly lets go the thought that I want to kiss that pout away running around my head but I quickly snap out of it and get up heading to the guest room where I see Jack's just waking up he smiling at me happily. "Morning daddy." I smile wishing him good morning back. "We should probably head home little man." He immediately whines and pouts. "But daddy I don't wanna leave!" I give him a reassuring look. "We're going to watch the basketball game tonight with Mr Dk so you need to be extra good or you can't go." He pouts but nods and gets up I leading him out of the room where I look at Donghyuk. "We need to get going so we can get ready for tonight." He frowns before saying firmly. "Let me go with you so I can help carry things." I reluctantly agree and we gather all of Jack's presents before putting on our shoes and head out. Once we reach Kyong's apartment I unlock the door with my extra key and lead him inside we setting the presents down. I then give Donghyuk an appreciative smile as we say goodbye I watching him leave. Jack and I spend the day playing with his new toys and everything until it's time to go to the basketball game. Dongyuk comes with a driver to pick us up I a little surprised when I see a children's booster seat in the car it secured and everything. I look at Dongyuk in curious surprise and he smiles. "I wanted to make sure the little one would be safe." I smile thankfully and put Jack in the seat before getting in back with him and we drive to the game. Once we arrive and go to get our seats Jack sits on my lap since he's so small and the seats too big for him. He bounces in excitement as he watches the game I trying to focus on the game but start feeling a little off I doing my best to ignore it. As the night goes on I start feeling a little warm and my skins itchy I shifting a little as the game finally ends. I get up holding a droopy eyed Jack as we head outside to the car I saying softly. "Thanks for this we had a great time." He smiles down at me. "You're welcome I'm glad you guys had fun." I smile then shift a little he looking at me in concern. "Are you okay?" I give a reassuring smile. "Yeah I'm just a little warm." He frown and gently puts his hand to my head worriedly my wolf making a happy noise. "You feel warm and look flushed. Let's get you home." I nod and we get in the car making it back to Kyong's place and I smile at Donghyuk. "I'll see you soon I guess. Bright and early for practice." He smiles and nods. "Yep. See you tomorrow." I smile and hesitate before I lean up kissing his cheek before I rush inside putting Jack to bed but I stay up feeling warm and uncomfortable.
