CARRIE'S POV

I stared at myself in the mirror, at least this was good enough, it was only for a few hours after all;

Mum and dad had flew me in for a ball occurring at Paris, the place was nice.

Anyways they said the dress code was white and I was ready;

I loved the dress I wore, it was kind of simple and kind of elegant, it was a white strapless dress with a slit in the on the left, I liked it cuz it hugged every curve on my body;

Soon, my parents and I were driven to the place for the ball;

''You know honey, you should have worn something more... you know, free at the bottom, like mine;

What mum wore:-

Mum's pretty, I took after her, curly brown hair and green eyes, soon I was in the ball room and my parents had me talk to a couple of people, at a point I just got tired and went to sit at the bar, my feet were killing me with these heels;

''Is this seat take?'' a guy asked;

''Nope'' I replied not looking;

''Hey Carrie'' wait, everyone at the ball had been calling me Carissa, I hated the name btw! No offense to all Caroline's out there, it just didn't suit me.

I turned to look at the person, guess, I'll give you a sec.

MARCUS!

''What are you doing here?'' I asked;

''This is a ball for important people right?''

''Okay?'' I stood up and went to the the hall supposedly leading to the bathroom, while Marcus followed;

''We should talk Carrie'' he said and I just picked up the pace, eventually he grabbed my hand and turned me to face him;

''What's going on?'' he asked me;

''What is going on Marcus?'' I ask back;
'' Nothing, just wanted to talk to you, anyways straight to the point, does Aura know anything? '' he asked;

I paused then said; ''No''

''Perfect'' and then he claimed his lips with mine, why did he kiss me at this situation. Please?

This wasn't gonna end well, I could feel it...
