After the other day, things practically got weirder and kind of better and in the coming 2 days, it's gonna be prom. And here I was in my room busy chatting away with Aura and she's been acting differently lately, infact, I don't think she wants me coming for prom;
''Gosh, I can't wait for prom Carrie'' she said picking a style of hair to do;
''You sure you don't want me coming?'' I asked;
''You should stay at home cuz I'm literally gonna be to busy with Marcus to really bother'' she replied dryly then quickly changed the topic; ''Sooo? What do you think about Marcus?''
''He's... cool and nice to be honest'' I replied thinking;
''You better not fall for him'' she said but not in a joking manner like she actually meant it but she kept a fake smile to hide the rudeness she just displayed in a way;
''I think I should come, you know, just incase anything happens?'' I say;
''Fine'' she says annoyed; ''But you should totally wear this dress'' she says and pull up this well nice but ordinary dress;
Not ordinary, it was only meant for things like a dinner or a simple but classy date NOT for prom;

''Why this?'' I asked;
''Huhm.. it would totally look nice on you'' she lied then went back to her phone;
''Can I ask a question?'' I asked;
''Huhm... ooh! Marcus just said we should meet up'' she said then squealed;
''But we were just talking'' I said shocked;
''Yeah but we can do that later, right?'' she said then quickly ran out of my room;
I made the home system lock the living room door and soon went to sleep, I woke up a few hours later to the sound of my phone ding, it was a message;
Hey there, it's Marcus! Just wanted to ask if you were coming for prom.
-Marcus
Nah, I won't be coming and how did you get my number?
-Carrie
Don't tell Aura, I'll ask for it formally tomorrow in front of her, now are you coming for prom?
-Marcus
Yeah, I'll be there
-Carrie
If Aura had a problem with it, she just had to deal with it...
AURA'S POV
I just really hope she doesn't show up for the prom tomorrow night, I hated the way she always overshadowed me, I've always been seen as 'Carrie's friend', 'That girl', 'What's her name again?'
