"Y/n come on" Hermione shaking the girl beside her "Mhh what" Y/n said groggily
"It time to get up were nearly at hogwarts"
Hermione said softly "Okay I'm getting up now" Y/n said opening here eyes "Nice nap Y/l/n" McKenna ask " bugger off" Y/n said getting up dazed "You look out of it" Ariana said "geez thanks Ari" Y/n said grabbing her bag and sitting back down "how long left do ye say mione" Y/n said
"I say less than five minutes" she said with a smile "Harry you okay after the dementor attack?" Y/n asked "Yeah I'm fine just odd that I could here a woman screaming and you heard someone yelling the killing curse." Harry said "Mh yea it's weird" Y/n replied "Y/n you don't think it
Could of been my mom and Voldemort yelling the killing curse at her" Harry asked "It's a possibility I mean we do think I'm somehow more connected to Voldemort than you so it might as well be" Y/n said

"Hey guys we're here come on" Walker said getting up "Home sweet home" Maliq
Said getting out of the carriage and walking out onto the platform. "Are you guys ready for another year of everything going to shit and us all having to put it together" Xochitl said as everyone sighs
"Eh why can't we have one normal year" Aryan ask "Because of these to right here anywhere they go trouble follows" Hermione said smirking at Y/n
"Oh you're getting it Granger" Y/n sent back "Getting what Y/l/n what you gonna do?"
"Ugh will you guys stop flirting for Merlin sake" Ron said Y/n and Hermione give him glares "we weren't flirting just messing around" Y/n replied "Hm sure whatever you guys believe." Ron said back
"Hey what's that supposed to mean!" Hermione said annoyed "It's just means you and Y/n are obsessed with each other surprised you guys aren't together yet" Ron replied with Hermione give him a scoff .

They made their way to the castle and got changed into their house robes. Now their in the great hall the new first years sorted into their houses and the choir had just finished their song "Merlin's beard I think my eardrums have popped" Walker muttered to Y/n as she laughed at the comment he made.
As Dumbledore steps up to the podium he says "Welcome! Welcome to another year at hogwarts. Now, I'd like to say a few words before we all become to befuddled by our excellent feast. First I'm pleased to welcome Professor R.J. Lupin who's kindly consented to fill the post of Defense Against  the Dark Arts teacher. Good luck Professor." Dumbledore said as Lupin stood up and everyone gave him around of applause "Of course. That's why he knew to give the both of you the chocolate" Hermione said to Y/n and Harry
"Pottah. Y/l/n. Is it true the both of you fainted? I mean you actually fainted" as Malfoy's friend pretended to faith. "shove off, Malfoy" Ron said turning Harry back around "I swear one of theses days I'm gonna get my hands on him" Y/n said through gritted teeth "Just forget it Y/n" Hermione replied. Dumbledore spoke up again "Our Care of Magical Creatures teacher for many years has decided to retire in order to spend more time with his remaining limbs. Fortunately, I'm delighted to announce that his place will be taken by none other than our own Rubeus Hagrid." A loud round of applause mostly from the Gryffindor table "Wooooo" came from Hermione "I'm so happy for Hagrid" Xochitl said as Hagrid stood up knocking a lot of plates and cups down Dumbledore spoke again "Finally, on a more disquieting note, at the request of the Ministry of Magic Hogwarts will, until further notice play host to the dementors of Azkaban" whispers could be heard around the great hall from students "Until such a time as Sirius Black is captured. The dementors will be stationed at every entrance to the grounds. Now whilst I've been assured that their presence will not disrupt our day-to-day activities a word of caution. Dementors are vicious creatures they'll not distinguish between the one they hunt and the one who gets in their way. Therefore I must warn each and every one of you to give them no reason to harm you. It is not in the nature of a dementor to be forgiving."
Y/n could feel herself start to heat up at the thought of the dementors she looked at Harry and he seemed to be the same.
"But you know, Happiness can be found even in the darkness of times if one only remembers to turn on the lights that will be it for tonight now enjoy the feast" Dumbledore said while sitting down "What a way to scare the living daylights out of someone" Walker said the a scared face as everyone laughed at him "I think professor Lupin will be a good teacher" Hermione said as she looked at Ron eating a chicken drumstick with disgust.
"Yeah he seems to be nice. He's very familiar though" Y/n replied and Harry nodded in response "When does the quidditch season start back up?" Xochitl asked "Wood said try outs are next week and they we will be training on Monday's and Wednesday's" Y/n said as she piled food on her plate "When we're you talking to Wood?" Harry ask "Over the summer we've been taking about over in individual training progress" Y/n said with a shrug.

"Good night everyone" Hermione said as her, Y/n and Xochitl all went to their shared Dorm room "it's good to be back to be honest I've kinda missed this" Xochitl said
"Yeah same it's like a second home by the way Whats our first class tomorrow?" Y/n said " divination, a lot of rubbish " Hermione said "It could be good though you never know" Y/n replied "I don't  believe in telling the future it can't be predicted" Hermione snapped
"Fine smarty-pants, whatever you say" Y/n smirked knowing
to Hermione. "What did you say Y/l/n" Hermione said with a scowl "Oh come Mione don't think i forgot about earlier on the platform." Y/n turn to face Hermione with a smug smile as she stepped towards Hermione. Xochitl sat there with a knowing smile "Eh Y/n why are you looking at me like that?" Hermione said trying to hold in her laughter before she could say anything else Y/n picked her up and placed her on her bed and started to tickle the bushy hair girl "Y/n I'm going to kill you" Hermione said between laughter "Oh yeah Granger danger" Y/n said with a smile "Don't call me that" Hermione said still laughing. Y/n stopped tickling her and flopped on the bed beside her "Your lucky, you're cute Y/l/n" Hermione said. Y/n could feel herself start to blush. "And Now Because you did that you need to go to the library with me for the rest of the week" Hermione said with her arms crossed
"Mioneeeeeee whyyyy" Y/n replied with a groan "Got yourself in a pickle there Y/l/n". Xochitl said while laughing.

A/n I hope you like this chapter I really hope you're all enjoying the book so far I have soo many ideas with might a second chapter today I'm not too sure though. Plus at the start of the chapter i said Y/n more of a connection to Voldemort than Harry
You will learning more about this in later chapters and books.
