After everyone finished their ice cream they went to get their new school book's for the new term. After all of them were done in Flourish and Blotts everyone spent their time looking through shops and buying clothes or essential necessities.
As Ron went in Ollivanders because in their Previous year at hogwart Ron's wand broke which became usable. it broke by a flying car that Harry and Ron Drove into the whomping Willow. Harry and Xochitl went with Ron to get his wand which left everyone else to wandering around diagon alley.

Y/n, Ariana,  Maliq, Walker and Aryan were all in Quality Quidditch Supplies looking at the latest broom model the firebolt "wow that's beautiful isn't it Y/n" Walker said in awe of the broom "Definitely I'd clear out my bank account of that but I can't I have a good broom all ready." Y/n said, Her nibus 2001 did her brilliantly the pass two years even won some matches for them
It would be Irrational of her to empty her bank out of some broom. Y/n, Ari and the boys Eventually, walked out of the store to meet McKenna and Hermione "Hey guys" y/n said walking towards them "hey" both replied. Hermione had a eye on a certain shop for a while " Guys can we go over to that shop please" She asked Y/n and McKenna both agreed leaving the boys and Ari still gawking at the broom from the window where it was on display.

The shop that Hermione brought them to was a book shop it had lots and lots of book but it wasn't like Flourish and Blotts
It had all types of books from romance to comedy. It all also had a lots of muggle books like the hunger games series, which Y/n heard a few people talk about
"I was barely able to bring of my favourite muggle books with me because my truck is full" Hermione said as her fingers skimmed the spine of the books as she passed Hermione had picked up about ten books from the shelves and
Read the blurb for the both of them and how she wondered what happened in the book. Y/n was in awe, she loved the way Hermione was so passionate about theses books and when she thought that she couldn't bring at lot of her books with her she felt bad. She knew how much she loved books so she suggested "I'll buy them for you consider it a early Christmas present" Y/n blurted out "Y/n I could never ask you to it's too much" Hermione said in shock "No I insist I must" Y/n took the books out of Hermione's hand before she could protest.

Y/n went up to the till and got served by a nice woman " Are theses books for you dear." The woman ask curiously "Oh no there for my friend" she said as she looked back to Hermione talking to McKenna probably about how stupid she was for buying her the books "She's a lucky girl" the nice lady said "that will be 10 galleons and 5 Sickle" Y/n handed the woman the money and the lady gave her the bag Y/n was about to say thank you the lady said "Tell her how you feel, some day you might regret it like I do" Y/n understood what she meant and said "Thank you and I will I promise". Y/n walked out of the shop meeting everyone there talking to McKenna and Hermione "There you go" y/n said handing the bag to Hermione "Y/n Y/l/n you didn't have to do that was too kind of you!" Hermione tried to give her a scolding look but it turned into a smile "Thank you Y/n means a lot" Hermione smiled " Anytime"

Y/n grinned back "Hey guys it's getting late want to go back to the leaky cauldron" Harry said everyone and agreed so they all started to make there way back
McKenna walked beside Y/n and whispered "You totally falling for her aren't you" and Y/n gave in response was a small smile and McKenna nudged her " You better tell her" she said "I will do it this year but when the timing is right"

~2 hours later~
They were all back in Hermione's room chilling now. Hermione and Ariana were reading books. Ron and Aryan were playing wizards chess which Ron was winning. Harry, Maliq and walker were talking, While Y/n, McKenna and Xochitl were watching modern family on the television in Hermione's room. "Merlin sake Ron how can a person be that good at Wizards chess" Aryan said after losing to Ron again "It's just one of my special skills" Ron said with a smug smile " I'm done I can't play anymore you're just to good" Aryan said

"Hey guys do you think the ministry will catch Sirius Black?" Hermione asked out of nowhere while reading the daily profit " Dad , just said it is a matter of time before they catch him again plus with those the dementors, I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of them" Ron said " but he slipped past the once what to say he won't do it again" Y/n said " true but they'll catch him sooner than later ."  Ron replied
"Y/n have your parents said anything about it since their working on the case" Ariana asked "Not really for some reason i feel like there's something their not telling me or Harry I just feel like we're connected to black in some way" Y/n said 
"True they've been a bit off recently" Harry said

"I kinda wonder why" Y/n said Harry hummed in agreement "No no no you two are not going looking for whatever it may be, you hear me" Hermione perked up Harry and Y/n both looked at each other "Hermione we never said that we were going to look for it" Y/n said calmly "but  you want to know" McKenna said
"I will admit that I'm curious but we won't"
Harry replied " Y/n, Harry it's not you we don't trust you it's other people like black plus trouble just seems to follow both of you knowing or not" Xochitl said everyone agreed "We know and we promise to stay out of trouble" said y/n

"Anyways want to watch a movie?" Walker asked, everyone agreed to watch Spider-man "Walker I could see you as Spider- man or Deadpool" Y/n said out of nowhere half way through the movie " Finally Thanks Y/l/n atleast someone thinks I can be a superhero" Walker glaring at Aryan
"All I said was that you're a scaredy-cat for Merlin sake Walker you're scared of the dark" Aryan replied laughing "What the dark is scary!" Walker replied
"Clam down boys and watch the movie" Ariana said chuckling.

Another hour passes and the end credits roll "Well I had a good night guys thank you" Ron said while getting up everyone smiled at him. Everyone we're heading to there room and it was only Hermione and Y/n now "Thanks for the books you really didn't have to" Hermione said while playing with her jumper sleeve
"I wanted to plus it's an early Christmas present" Y/n smiled she stood up and put her jumper on and about to put her shoes on before "Y/n?" Hermione said "mhm" Y/n replied "Can you stay here tonight?" Hermione asked Y/n a bit taken back "eh Yeah sure only if you're okay with it" Y/n replied "Of course I am plus I want to catch up with you" Y/n placed her shoes back onto the ground and took her hoddie off leaving her in her t-shirt and shorts.

Y/n laid down in the bed beside Hermione and face her "How was your summer?" Hermione asked "It was good we all went on holiday together to Italy and stayed in the muggle world it was so fun Hermione why didn't you tell me it's beautiful". "I didn't think you'd like the muggle world" "Well I hate to break it do you Granger I loved it". "Well the I should show you more places in the muggle world like the theatre you'd love it and arcade". "Definitely i would love it" y/n replied with a wide smile
" I hope you like the books you picked out" y/n said "I'll love them, your so sweet for doing that you really didn't have to"
"I wanted to. Plus you're cute when you read" Y/n said Hermione blushed at what she said " Thank you Y/n" Hermione replied giving y/n a hug and resting her head on Y/n's chest. It's nothing unusual for Y/n and Hermione to be affectionate but there was tension not the kind rather the good kind. What the woman said to Y/n in the book keep replaying in her mind.
She had to wait for the right time she knew she would tell her this year but she had to do it right at the right time. She would know both of them would. They both started to drifted off Hermione's head nuzzling into Y/n's neck and Y/n arm around her waist and body of their legs entangled together. This was the start of something either could have imagined.
