I was barely able to get any sleep after my sister's phone call. I kept thinking about Jordan's situation and why she chose to tell me now. It worries me but I also don't understand why she would leave him with his dad before telling me. I've got a lot of questions but for now I'm just happy r decided to tell me.

"Raising a child is a lot of work! You're lowkey downplaying this. You're gonna need all the help you can get you know. Do you even realise that you're not gonna be home most of the time?" After getting ready and texting my sister Reiss' address so she can drop Jordan off. I told Reiss about the whole situation. "Yea I know. I'm gonna make it work tho." I saw him roll his eyes when he turned towards me. "You've never raised a child before. Occasionally taking him to Westfield or football matches doesn't count. This is a very big responsibility." "I know, but at the same time what do you want me to do. He's my nephew. Im gonna take care of him. I'll make it happen. Trust." Reiss handed me a plate with cut fruits. "I know, I just mean be realistic and ask for help when you need it. Which is gonna be always by the way. Don't forget I'll always be there, no matter the time. But again be realistic, you're gonna be at Carrington most of the day. Of the week even. I'm all the way here in London which is too far to just quickly come over. Who's gonna be there when you need help?" As I was about to speak interrupted me. "And don't say Marcus! Or Jesse!" I laughed. "Yea you really got me. I'll figure it out tho." I ate the fruits Reiss cut for me and grabbed my phone.

T☀️: hello i'm good how are you?
I read the notification about ten times before realising Tanesha had actually texted me back last night. I really didn't expect her to text me back. Not so soon at least. "T texted me, what do I reply?" I asked Reiss since I didn't know what to say. Before he could answer me the doorbell rang. He opened the door, I heard him say my sister's name and walked to the hallway. "Jadon!" Jordan dropped his bag and ran towards me to give me a hug. "I've missed you so much." I quietly said.

The three of us sat in the living room while Jordan sat in the kitchen with his iPad. He grew a lot. I hadn't seen him in a long time and he looks so different now. I looked at him and wanted him to have a happy childhood. No more moving around and issues with his parents. I know its gonna be a lot of work but I really wanna make this happen. He deserves the best childhood he can get. Someone nudged me out of my thoughts. "Jadon. I'm sorry for all this. I hope I'm not causing you too much trouble. I'll let him stay with mum if it's too much." Aleysha looked sad and worried. "No. I already agreed right? It's fine." She looked slightly less sad but still worried. "Yea but i don't know, you're gonna be travelling and training a lot. Reiss is right." I rolled my eyes. "I'll see what happens when it happens."

I  started thinking about T again. I feel guilty for basically cutting contact, and wondered how I should reply to her message. I'm happy she even replied.

"Maybe T can help." Aleysha said.  I sat up straight. "Help who with what?" I said. "You, with Jordan." I looked at my sister, speechless, had no idea what to say. "She actually asked me about Jordan recently." She continued. I just stared at her in disbelief. "Really? What'd she say?" Reiss asked. "She said she was back in London and asked if she could see Jordan. But I told her he wasn't with me." She looked at me as she spoke again "you okay? Why you so quiet now?" "Why don't you ask her if she wants to come to Manchester with you and Jordan." I looked away, stared at the window instead. "What's the problem? She likes Jordan, you two always used to take him out. And she took him to visit you when you went to play academy in Manny right?" "We don't really speak these days." I mumbled. Reiss cleared his throat. "Jadon stopped talking to her for no reason. And then they just never spoke again." Aleysha looked at me and back at Reiss again. "Why? What happened? What did you do?" I rolled my eyes, I know it's my fault we stopped talking. But why does everyone just assume like that? "I just didn't think she wanted to stay in contact. I guess. Thought I was bothering her." She looked at me. "You're not too clever are you, Jadon?" She asked. I kissed my teeth. "I decided to text her yesterday. And she replied." Reiss looked at me. "Wait since when? You never told me she replied." I kissed my teeth again. "Bro I did tell you. Before you opened the door earlier." "Huh I don— Reiss started speaking but Aleysha interrupted. "Well just tell her 'hey wanna come to Manchester with Jordan and me?' she'll probably say yes." I sighed. "I mean, she was looking for a job. Just ask her." They made it sound so easy. "How do I just suddenly bring that up? That's weird. We didn't speak for so long and then you want me to ask her to move in and all that." "You just apologise and all that. Don't forget you cut contact with her, she wasn't the one that decided to cut contact. And then when you've done that just ask. I'll explain aswell, I am very sure she'll get it." I love my sister but she really thinks too little. Her way of doing this is very unrealistic.

Heyy I'm glad you're doing okay. I'm fine. Where in London are you staying?

I'll just wait for a reply on this. I just keep thinking I'm bothering her. I'm definitely not gonna just ask her to come to Manchester with Jordan and me, I'll figure everything out soon enough.
