Chapter Ten

"Jadon, we've gotta move now, you have to be at Carrington in about 45 minutes." Reiss called out. "Jordan refuses to go." Jadon sighed. "Why can't T come with us?" he whined.

Ever since they'd left Paige and Raheem's house Jordan had been asking for Tanesha nonstop.

"She's got her own things to do. You can see her again later, let's go now." still the younger refused to move. "Okay nah, let's just call her at this point." Reiss whispered to Jadon as they stood in the hallway. "Nah, you better not." Jadon hissed back. "We don't really have a choice at this point bro." Reiss sighed. After thinking for a while he finally resigned, realising there probably was no other way they'd get Jordan to come with them. "Fine. Call her."

"Wait, explain again?" Tanesha said confused. Reiss had called her and asked her to come with them to Carrington. "Jordan refuses to go without you, please come with us, there's not much time left okay." She quietly thought about the situation when Jadon spoke up "I'm very sorry yea? I don't know why I cut contact but I regret doing it. Please come with us to Carrington, that's all. Just come for Jordan, please." He begged. "It's fine. Pick me up?" "Yea, yea of course, thank you, see you in a bit." Jadon rambled relieved.

"You happy now kid?" Jadon sighed. "She's actually coming?" Jordan asked smiling. Jadon and Reiss just nodded as they walked towards the car.

"Wow that was definitely impressive." T said looking around her, as they walked out of Carrington towards the car. "Yea that was fun." Jordan yawned. "I'm tired now, and hungry." Reiss laughed as Jadon shook his head. "You're always hungry!" he laughed as he picked a squealing Jordan up. "Let's go get some food." He said shaking his head in amusement.

"I'm not hungry Jadon leave me be." They'd decided to just go to McDonald's to get Jordan a Happy Meal. "I haven't seen you eat all day though. At least get something to drink if you're not hungry." Jadon sighed. "You don't live with me so you wouldn't know if I ate. I ate before I came with you." Tanesha countered "That's was hours ago, this is unhealthy. Jadon shot back at her.

The two of them kept going back and forth as Jordan ate his happy meal and Reiss amusedly drank his Sprite. "Okay well, I don't care I'm ordering you some food. And we'll stay here until you've finished it all." Jadon said walking away.

Tanesha walked after him. "Don't you dare order anything." She threatened. Jadon didn't even look at her as he ordered. Tanesha who was definitely hungry kept her mouth shut as she cursed him in her head. Secretly thankful that he stubbornly ordered her some food anyway.

After dropping her off the 3 others went home and Reiss started packing to go back to London again. "You could stay a bit longer." Jadon told him. "I can't. You'll be fine though. Just call me if you need anything." Reiss said. "I'm gonna be bored everyday now you know." Reiss rolled his eyes. "You're with Jordan you're never gonna be bored." Jadon stayed quiet.

It was finally time for Reiss to leave Manchester and Jadon dreaded having to say goodbye to him. "And don't forget to ask T to help you out. You know you can't realistically take care of Jordan all on your own. You're too chaotic, you need structure." Jadon rolled his eyes. "I'll be fine don't even worry about me." "Right." Reiss sighed.

"Well, it's time. I'm gonna miss you two but we'll speak soon yea." Reiss said. "Bye Reiss I'm gonna miss you." Jordan said. "I'll miss you too Jordan." He replied. "Call me when you're back home." Jadon requested. "I will." They all hugged and said their last goodbyes as Reiss was leaving.

The Premier League had started school had started as well. And life just got chaotic. "Where's the rest of your uniform then Jordan?" Jadon asked impatiently. "In the wash." Jordan answered. "Why'd you not tell me to wash it before? How d'you wanna go school now?" Jadon asked. "I did ask you to wash my clothes. And you said you would too!" Jordan said. "I definitely don't remember that. Alright, nothing we can do now. Your second uniform's in the wash too no?" Jordan nodded. "It's fine Jordan. Let's just go now. I'll just explain it to your teacher. Don't worry."

"Bro I remember him asking you to wash his uniform. And then you forgot so he wore the other and now you've apparently forgotten to wash his stuff again. You also literally went and got new plates and stuff cos everything was just dirty. And then made other kitchen a mess too. You can't keep living like that." Raheem scolded as he looked around him. "There's a stench in here too." he said as he scrunched his nose. "There's no stench bro." Jadon mumbled. "There defo is." Paige answered.

"It's okay, let's just make sure Jordan has his uniform for tomorrow at least." Paige said soothingly. "But you can't continue on like this. The house is a mess. What if Jordan wants to invite friends over? This is just embarrassing for the poor kid." Paige continued. "What's wrong with asking for help?" She asked. "I don't need it." Jadon answered. "Clearly." Raheem said, looking around them.

Suddenly they heard the door open and voices speaking in the hallway. As the voices came closer and got more audible Jadon's cheeks flushed. "No way you two called her." he hissed.

"Oof! What's that smell?" T asked walking in with Jordan on her back taking selfies on her phone. Jadon rolled his eyes as Paige and Raheem tried but terribly failed to quietly snicker in a corner.

"Nothing, I don't even smell anything bro." Jadon hissed. Tanesha smiled at a beaming Jordan who had now shifted to her hip. "Right.." she drawled out. "Well I'm here to help you out anyway. Let's start with the first kitchen?" she said. Jadon rolled his eyes. "No need it's been done already." "Oh wow! Well done Jadon!" Tanesha said clapping in her hands. Jadon rolled his eyes at her again.

"He's a big hungry wolf, isn't he?" Tanesha asked Jordan. "Yea, he's so hungry he's now gone grumpy." Jordan laughed. "Wow okay then Jordan." Jadon replied. "Let me cook before you have to leave for training again." T said. "Mkay. Thanks." he drawled. "Is okay." T replied.

"So..." Paige said as Tanesha cooked some rice. "Ya sauce." Tanesha said. "No! Wagwan?" Paige said. "You're actually cooking him rice." She said. "mhmm." Tanesha answered. "I am aware yea." Paige rolled her eyes. "Are you two okay then?" Paige said. "I sure hope they are." Raheem said. "It was a stupid misunderstanding anyway." He spoke again.

Tanesha just turned the rice. "You guys are weird." she hummed.

Jadon walked into the kitchen before either Raheem or Paige could say something again.

"Ew don't even! Grab a spoon. It's very hot too, by the way." Tanesha said as Jadon tried to grab some rice out of the wok. "No way you wanted to put your fingers in a hot pan Jadon." Raheem shook his head like a disappointed parent.

He ignored them as he grabbed a plate. "Yea 's good." he spoke mouth full of rice.

"You can't speak with your mouth full." Jordan said disapprovingly. "Exactly." Tanesha Paige and Raheem said all at once. "And hurry up before you're late for training." Tanesha said.
