I move the curtain of the fitting room.

"You should really make some friends."

"You are my friends."

"Girl friends. You should hang out with girls."

"You're my favorite girl Sam." I reply with a smile.

Matthew chuckles.

"So do we like it ?" I ask while doing a twirl to show the black dress.

It stops a little higher than my knee. It's close to the skin without it being skin-tight. I love how the fabric looks but I would have to be careful when sitting down.

It is perfect for this season and it might be good for the beginning of spring as well.

"I love it. Can we go?" Asks Sam.

"Why are you being so impatient?"

"I hate shopping especially if it's not for me." Whines Sam.

"Then go look for some clothes and join me for a fashion show."

"I don't... You know what? That's actually a good idea!" He replies with a smile while getting up to look at men's clothes.

"Do you like it?" I ask again, to only Matthew this time.

"I do. It looks good."

"Cool. But I don't know if it's office attire... I might buy it but I would only wear it on the week-ends."

"You dress the way you want hun." Says Sam with so much clothes on his arms I cannot see his face.

Didn't he say he despised shopping?

"Yeah... You're right."

"Don't you prefer to wait until receiving a positive answer to buy those clothes ?"

"I will get in. The interview went perfectly!"

I had an interview earlier this day for a job and it went great. I spent the last four days on LeetCode to prepare for the interview.

I had a call last week to make sure I would be a great candidate and today I met with some people from the team to verify I had the skills.

"But what if..."

"Stop with your pessimism Big Matt. There is no reason she won't get in."

"I just don't want her to get excited for something that might not happen. I don't want to see her hurt if she doesn't get in. It's better to have no hope and not expect anything."

"It must be funny living your life." Says Sam with sarcasm in the fitting room.

"They said I was the perfect candidate for the position."

"You should invite us for dinner if you get in."

"Yes! Sushi on me."

"Eww no. More like pasta and pizza." Says Sam while getting out of the fitting room and doing a similar twirl as mine. I can't help but chuckle at the sight.

"I'm with him on this one." Says Matthew.

"Not cool. Sushi is like the best food ever."

"Until you get sick from it." Replies Matthew.

"Never happened to me."

"Me neither. I just think raw fish is disgusting." Says Sam.

I roll my eyes at that.

"You added mac and cheese in your hamburger, you can't judge."

"And you should try it. It was delicious."
