The Remedy For Love (Escape The Fate)

Chapter 3~

When I got to school, I parked in my usual spot, and got out. I stuffed my keys in my jacket pocket, grabbed my backpack, and walked over to a bunch of picnic tables that were a ways away from the main building of the high school. I walked over to an empty table, sat down, and felt a tear roll down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away, but more came.

As I sat there crying, I heard someone approach me. Then I heard someone ask "Hey are you okay?"

I looked up and saw some kid my age standing there, looking down at me. He was a little short.but was taller than me, he had short black hair that draped over his eyes, pale skin, and was wearing all black.

He had a genuine look of concern on his face, and I really appreciated that..At least someone cares.

I nodded and said "Yeah um, I-I'm fine."

He didn't look convinced and asked "You sure about that?"

I slowly nodded and said "Ummm yeah..Why?"

He sat down next to me and said "Cause I know you're lying..Wanna know how?"

I said "H-How?"

He said "Cause your voice is shaky, your eyes are red and puffy, you're not making eye contact with me, and I can see stressed look on.your face."

Jesus, is it that obvious?

He laughed and said "Yeah, you pretty much have 'I'M NOT OKAY' tattooed on your forehead, dude."

Wait, did I say that out loud?

"Yeah you said it out loud, and that too."

I just shook my head and looked down. He sighed and asked "Alright Repunzelle, what's wrong?" Referring to my long black hair that rested at my shoulders.

I shook my head and said "It's nothing, really...My boyfriend's just an asshole, that's all.."

He raised an eyebrow and asked "Boyfriend? Soooo you bat the same team?"

I nodded and said "Y-Yeah, why?"

He leaned in and whispered "I thought I was the only one."

My eyes went wide and I asked "You...You're Gay?"

He nodded and said "Yep...Got tired of being hurt and lied to by every whore I was with, so I decided to try my hand with guys...But I've never been with a guy before.."

I nodded and he said "What's your name?"

I looked at him and said "Max..Max Green."

He smiled and said "Nice to meet you max Green, I'm Craig Mabbitt..Just transferred here a few days ago. Today's  my first day here."

He held his hand out, and I shook it. He smiled at me, and I smiled a little back...He's good looking-STOP IT MAX, YOU'RE WITH RONNIE!!

But...But what if I don't want Ronnie anymore?

You can't leave Ronnie, he loves you.

I wish I could believe that...I used to believe that once.

You can't just abandon him!

Well maybe it'll teach him a lesson, so he can get his shit together!!

Craig smiled and asked "Soooo, do you wanna show me around the school? This place is huge, and I think I might get lost."

I smiled and nodded. "Sure, I could show you around."

He smiled again and before he could say anything, Ronnie walked up to us...Oh God.

He stood right in front of me and asked "What the hell, Max?! Why did you abandon me like that?!"

I rolled my eyes and said "Oh I don't know, maybe it's cause you fucking hit me this morning!!!"

Craig looked at me concerned, then up at Ronnie.

"You hit him?"

Ronnie looked over at Craig and asked "Who the fuck are you?"

Craig said "I'm Craig, this is my first day here...I saw max sitting by himself, crying, so I came over to see if he was okay...Who the fuck are you?"

Ronnie gave him a dirty look and said "I'm Ronnie, I'm his boyfriend."

Ronnie then looked at me and asked "So, you've found a new boyfriend there, Maxxie? You haven't known this jerk off for two seconds, and you're already whoring around with him?"

I stood up, got in his face and said "I am not whoring around with anyone! And what about you, how do I know you're not cheating on me, with those junkie asshole friends of yours?"

"Because I love you, and I'm faithful!"

"Then fucking act like it, Ronald!"

He blinked, surprised that I called him by his real name...I've never called him by his real name before. 

Before he could say anything else, I said "I don't have time for this, I've gotta show Craig around the school, I'll see you later Ronnie."

Craig stood up, and followed me away from Ronnie, and I felt more tears stinging my eyes. He put his hand on my shoulder and asked "Are you okay?'

This time I shook my head and said "No...No, I'm not."
