1 year later

"Maybe we can-"

"Josie I'm not going anywhere Lizzie is going to be" I crossed my arms. "How'd  you even-"

"She's your twin Jo, she's going to be there"

"What happen Lilly. You two just started to hate each other randomly and-" I shrug.

"It was nothing Jo. I tried fixing things with her over the year. If she doesn't wanna fix things then that's on her I'm not going to beg for a friendship she's not putting effort into. We are cousins that's enough" I cut her off.

"I just don't understand-"

"That's a good thing trust me Jo" I say cutting her off again and getting up walking away. We are in the boarding school.

Hope as been avoiding me.. and I don't know why. Or if I did something it's just weird.

My birthday lands on spring break this year. For some reason they changed the dates so. They want to celebrate it before the twins go off on a trip with their dad to visit aunt Caroline.

"Hey kid"

"Hi Alaric, have you seen Hope?"

"Uh yeah she's running around be careful" I nod and walk outside and to the back.

I smile when I see that white coat fur. Her wolf form is so beautiful. I see her head turn towards me and she slowly walks over. I put my hand out letting her sniff me.

She circles me as I sit down and she lays her wolf head on my lap. "Hi butterfly.."

I lay back and drifted off to sleep.

"Lilly.." I hear someone whisper. I rub my eyes and cover my face. "Lilly come on" I groan and sit up. "Hey hope." I smile.

"Let's go inside" she pulls me up. "What time is it?"

"Almost time for your party" I nod and we walk back to the school.

We walk inside and people jump out. "Surprise!" I jump back into Hope who is giggling. "Happy birthday" I smile. "Lilly come here" Lizzie calls. I nod and look at home walking over.

"Listen to what Josie just said" she said and she sounded mad

"Umm.." Josie started. "Jo?" I ask.

"Hope has been talking bad about you and Lizzie" she said and my eyes widen. "No.. hope.. she wouldn't do that"

"Why would she lie about that Lilly?!" Lizzie said.

"I-" then we all heard an explosion from upstairs.

We all run out of the school and see that Hopes Room is on fire. I look around seeing her outside.

After they put the fire out everyone was on edge.

"Are you okay sweetie?" Mom asked. I nod and look at dad and Stefanie. And then I look over and see Lizzie and Hope yelling at each other. Me and Stefanie share a look then run over. Josie is already there.

"Lizzie stop!" I say and she grabs my arm siphoning me. Which hurt. She then uses her magic pushing Hope away.

"Elizabeth!" Alaric yelled. Stefanie holds me to her side and Hope is in the ground. Josie looks guilty of something.

"She set her room on fire! She did this so we wouldn't go on that trip!" Lizzie yelled.

"You're grounded Elizabeth" she groans and runs to the woods. Josie goes after her.
