We were all in the car after we stopped this mummy thing and are heading back home. Josie and Lizzie still refused to tell me and Hope how to stop Malivore.

"If you really thought that I said all those things, about you. Then you hating me all theses years makes perfect sense" Hope said quietly to Lizzie. I was on the other side of Hope next to Josie who was listing to music. "But with a father and a grandfather like mine, I'm probably not immune to those issues myself. I don't take it lightly and I would never make fun of you for it" hope said.

"I believe you" Lizzie said back. "What I don't get is why anyone would accuse me of that, who did you hear it from?" Hope asked and Lizzie looked at Josie. Hope turned to look at Josie and Josie looked at me.

"I heard it from Lilly..." Hope looked at me. I looked back at Hope seeing her heart break through her eyes. I know she feels betrayed right now. I just stared at her before turning away staring straight ahead of me and into the road form the middle row.

All I can think of is that I have to go back to mine and hopes shared room.

"Why would you drive a wedge between Hope Josie and I?" Lizzie asked as I folded clothes in my room. I turn and Lizzie and Josie are standing at the door and they walk in.

"No because I remember that day.. the day of the fire. Josie you said Hope was talking bad about me and Lilly" Lizzie said. I looked away. "I spelled Josie-" they look at me. "I told Josie that morning before I went out to find Hope..."

"Josie! Wait I have to tell you something!" I yelled rushing over. "What is it?"

"It's about hope, she's been talking bad at Lizzie and you, I just.. I thought you should know-" Josie looked at me confused. "But she'd never"

"But she did Josie" I crossed my arms. "I have to confront her"

"Josie started to walk away. I panicked and said a spell I didn't even know I knew she walked away to find Lizzie. That's when Lizzie found me and told Josie to tell me what, Hope apparently said..
I don't know when the spell broke but Josie clearly didn't remember till it was brought up-" I sighed.

"Why lie?" Josie asked.

"I was gonna ask the same thing" I hear from behind me as Josie and Lizzie sit on my bed.
I turn around and see Hope. I sigh and turn back around facing the twins. "I didn't just lie..." I turned my head to look at Hope. "I started the fire"

"Josie had made some remake that night before, about me being obsessed with you. The next morning I just blurted out, "how could I be obsessed with somebody who would say such mean things about my cousins"

"But I didn't" Hope said hurt. "I know, I just made it up" I said facing Hope fully now. "Why?"

"Because I don't want Josie to know the truth, I had a crush on you" I finally said. Though I knew I still did have one. Hopes face softened. "And I had slipped a note into your room that morning and, I don't know I just really immediately regretted it but I couldn't get in by then.. so I didn't a fire spell under your door. I was really only aiming for the note" I said.

"Why would it matter that I knew?" Josie asked and I turned to look at her. "Because, my whole life. Any time I've ever liked anyone, you or Lizzie would go for them. And you'd always win.." I said with my arms crossed.

I heard a chuckle from behind me. "You have a crush on me?" I turned my head to look at Hope.

"Of course I did. Who wouldn't?" Hope just smiled at me. Her soft eyes staring back at mine. I gave her a small smile. After we talked a bit more Lizzie and Josie went back to their rooms.
