I drag hope to the field. "Lilly!" She groans and pulls me back hard. I groan crashing into her. "Sorry- my strength-"

"Wait" I cut her off. "This is your daylight ring.. w-why are you wearing your daylight ring" I say looking at her rings.

She looks away. "Hope.." I stare in her eyes. "I turned.. months ago.. two weeks after you left.. and my humanity was off.. I killed Lizzie she's now a heretic.. Josie left for a while.. when I got my humanity back in she came back" hope confessed to me.

"That.. that night I was near here with Ethan.. I saw you and Lizzie but I didn't wanna believe it.. w-why" I ask intertwining our finger.

She shook her head. "Hope" she stares down at me. "I can't really say right now.. now while you're with Ethan"

"So it's about me" she shuts her eyes "no.. I-"

"Hope just tell me" I say squeezing her hand. "There you guys are!" Lizzie vamped over. I stare at her knowing she was listening to us. "Lizzie hey!" Hope said relief. I scoff and pull away from hope and walk away to the bleachers where Ethan's and Josie are.

"Hey what's wrong" Josie ask "nothing" I simply say and sit next to Ethan. I sigh. "Why did you tell me hope turned and shirt her humanity off" I asked Josie.

"You know-" Ethan said and covered his mouth. "You knew?!" I got up and faced them. "Lilly.. we didn't want you near her while she was like that.. and we didn't wanna ruin your time because we knew you'd drop everything and come back" Josie protested.

"Of course I would have come back she's my best friend Jo! What I don't understand is why it was about me and why you didn't want me to know!" Josie and Ethan share a look.

"Why are you took looking at each other like that! Just- ugh!" I groan and walk down the bleacher. "Lilly" Josie and Ethan run after me. "What! Is it that obvious to everyone but me?!" I ask throwing my hand up in the air.

They look away "oh my god, it is that obvious to everyone but me" I say and squeeze the bridge of my nose. "Lilly.. it's not something we can say" Josie says. "Even though I have it.. it's up to Hope to tell you it no" Ethan then said.

I tilt my head. After thinking for a bit I turn and take off walking. "Where is she Lizzie!" I basically yell. "Her room-" she said and backed away.

I've come to notice nobody messes with me when I'm upset which is weird.

I throw the doors open with magic and walk up to the dorms and to mine and Joel's room. I swing that door open and close it putting a spell on it which i don't know why it's not like it will hold her.

"Tell me now, that is so obvious to everyone but me" I cross my arms staring at home. "Wait it's obvious" she questioned. I groan and walk over to my bed throwing myself in it.

"Lilly.." I feel the bed sink beside me. "I want to tell you, but I can't not now anyway" she says and pushes hair off the side of my face. I turn my head and face her. "Why.."

She looks away "oh..."

"Oh"

"OH" I say in realization. "Because I'm with Ethan and it's because you like me..." I tilt my head.

She sigh and nods. And sit up on my knees and scoot towards her. "Hope.." I say for her to look at me but she doesn't.

I've always like her I've never not have.. even while I'm with Ethan I still have strong feelings for her. "Hope.." I say again placing my hand in her cheek and turning her head to face me.

Her eyes lock with mine "why didn't you wanna tell me"

"Because you are with Ethan.. and you're happy" she shrugs. I lightly smile. "I thought the same thing when you were with Landon"

"Wait-" I let out a small laugh while I put my head down. "I think it's just a waiting game with us hope..." I say and drop my hand from her face. She smiles "yeah probably"

She takes my hand in hers "was it really that obvious?"

"Clearly to everyone else" I shrug and she lets out a laugh. "Ethan hates it though"

"Ethan knows" she questioned. I nod. "Yeah.." I say and play with her rings in her fingers. She smiles.

"Why did you turn.." I ask and look up at her. "To be honest I don't remember.. I just remember Stefanie bringing me back and helping me turn my humanity back on.

I tilt my head, Stefanie.

"Oh" I say.

"So.. waiting game" she smiles.

"Waiting game Hope Andrea Mikaelson"

"Always and forever Lillian Lexi Salvatore"

Short chapter! I had absolutely no ideas and thought I was about time Lilly and Hope introduced their same feelings for each other.. uh oh while Lilly is still with Ethan 🫢

It might be awhile before the next chapter comes out just because for this story I have writers block rn.
