Hiiii-ya!!! Oh, hi. I'm Val. It's short for Valerie. Sorry about that outburst just now, I was practicing my ninja moves. Yeah, you heard right; I'm a ninja. Don't believe me? Ask anyone; my dad, my mom, or my uncles; they'll all tell you the same thing, because my dad and his brothers area all ninjas, too. Well, technically they're retired. In fact, you may have heard of them. They're the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (Or, they were; they're not exactly teens anymore.) I'm not kidding. Donatello is my dad, and my uncles are Leonardo, Raphael, and Michelangelo.

Let me explain. fi you're a fan of TMNT, you'll know that before my dad and uncles retired, my dad had a crush on their human friend April. After awhile April had the same feelings. They got married and had me. I'm 15 now, so my family's been out of the ninja business for a while. But they've been training me and my friends to carry on their work.

My friends and I are all half-animal, half human mutants. Basically we have 3 forms; full human like my mom, full animal like my dad and uncles (except not mutant animals, just regular ones), and then there's something in between that we usually use in battle. I call it the "Half-Time" form. When I'm in Half-Time, I'm mostly human, but I have a shell and my skin is slightly tinted green. My friends have really different Half-Times.

My friend Taylor is half cat and her mom is Catwoman, a retired villain, so she's a more vicious fighter. When she's in Half-Time, she has cat ears, clawss, and a big fluffy tail. She really likes to use her claws on bad guys, but to avoid her getting arrested for mauling people, we make her restrict herself to her weapons and use her claws only as a last resort. She's a lot like my Uncle Raph; really aggressive, so he have her his sai. She's good with them too.

Athena is half spider. Her dad is Spiderman, which she says has it's perks, but her Half-Time consists of her other 6 eyes and other 4 legs popping out of nowhere in particular, and sometimes she goes into Half-Time without meaning to. It's a little awkward when you're in public eating and suddenly your friend has twice as many limbs as she should. Anyway you might think her arachnid features would make her stand out, but really she's a master of stealth and is great at sneaking around. My Uncle Leo wanted to give me his katana swords since I'm the leader of our group, but my dad already gave me his staff, so Uncle Leo have his swords to Athena.

Last but not least is my friend Tawny. She's mostly like my Uncle Mikey; laid-back, funny, and our main source of comic relief. But you'd better take her seriously. Her dad's Wolverine, so naturally, she inherited his claws and near invulnerability. She also has dog-like fangs and ears, and like Taylor, a big tail. She uses my Uncle Mikey's nun chucks.

As for me, like I already said I use my dad's bo staff. (It's basically a giant stick that I use mainly like a sword, but I also knock people out by whacking them on the head with it.) My friends and I are all really good ninjas, but since i'm the only one who's a turtle, we changed our name to Teenage Mutant Ninja Girls. Not as catchy, I know, but it's the best we could do...
