Chapter 6

We climbed to the roof of the old goth shop and tried to figure out a way in. The shop had been caught in a freak fire and surprisingly ended up still standing. It was abandoned in the end for instability reasons. We needed to be really careful gettting in, or the whole building could crumble on top of us.

Athena walked slowlly and basically on tiptoe, jumping at every slight sound.

"We should not be up here!" she said to me; quietly as she was afraid talking normally would cause the building to collapse.

I rolled my eyes. "Athena, you're gonna blow your record of being the stealthiest. Just calm down and relax. We're ninjas, masters of walking lightly. We'll be fine." i assured her.

Just then, a black cat jumped up and walked over to us. I looked at it for a second, then said, "What's the story?"

The cat morphed back into Taylor, and she stood up.

"Just like we swuspected. Front door's crawling with guards. If we're getting in there, we're coming from above or below." She reported.

Tawny jumped down from her post. "I'd prefer above. I don't want to take another shower." She said.

Ignoring Tawny's comment, I turned to the team. "Okay guys, let's go morph." I said. I promptly turned into a large turtle. The others morphed right after me. Then Taylor picked me up and we jumped into a hole in the roof.
