What a joyous celebration I felt as I rested in the medical unit of the Oceanid flagship...the war was finally over, Steward Caol was banished from the memory of Atlantis. My beloved Oceanid Kingdom whom has so graciously adopted me into their ranks, was now complete.

King Okeanos Fisher, my grandfather, has been reinstated as the King of the Oceanid people with his beautiful wife, Queen Rina Fisher, my grandmother, at his side.

My Auntie Scales Fisher and my mother, Saline Fisher, were both reinstated as princesses, making Oceanid one of the most likely kingdoms of Atlantis to survive for another twelve thousand years; thanks to the many heirs.

The ship remains anchored off the island of Sao Jorge as we cleaned up the battlefield. When a day had finally passed, I rejoined my family for a meal as my King wanted to talk to me and the family. Conveniently, I have found a pair of swimming fins left behind as duine trash and used them to swim on my own accord without assistance.

Upon the deck, the royal guard greets me with a bow as I smiled back at them and passed on by as I joined my family at the table.

I think of Lori and Jason...I really should go home and tell them that I am alright...that is if they are still alive.

I looked at my King, my grandfather, as he gently smiled as he then looked over at his other two daughters.

[How gracious of a glorious morning to spend quality time with my family. How terribly I have missed each and every one of you!] he swims over to me as he gently takes my silky hands in his own oily webbed hands. [And to finally meet my granddaughter of the Surface...I look forward to being with you when you begin forming your beautiful tail. You have won the hearts of the people, saved your aunt and mother, and the kingdom with your selfless act of sacrifice.]

He releases my hands as he swims to his daughter Scales, speaking to her.

[My little Queen...I understand why you did what you did...to protect the kingdom and its people. You have shown your mother and I that you are ready to assume greater responsibilities; so, I would like you to guide our Royal Guard as their overseer.]

Auntie Scales gently nods her head as I too followed suit, learning the customs of Atlantis.

Grandpa then swims over to mother as he looks down at her. My birth mother, who had sunk Atlantis and saved it from total loss then bows her head as she believes that she still wasn't worthy of his praise.

[During my isolation, I have felt the burden of what you have experienced, my daughter. I never stopped to consider the sacrifice that you made to save Atlantis from being forgotten. I, nor any Oceanid blame you for the events of the past that have evolved us into these majestic beings. And I think it is time that you stepped out of the shadows as an in-betweener and into your role as princess of Oceanid.]

[Thank you, father, though I have no desire for the throne.] mother replied. Grandpa nodded, smiling as he glanced over at me.

[I know, and I will respect your wish. Your daughter's path will one day lead to the throne and she will need someone that she can trust, as I trust my lovely wife.]

[Wait!?] I blurted out [I will become the next Queen!?] Grandpa smiled, nodding.

[We have all decided that you, my child, will become the next queen of Oceanid after I choose to retire, which will be soon. My daughter's will advise you.]
