Chapter 4:Is That A Bird?

"I'm home!" Reverse shouted while kicking the door open with a loud 'bang'. Shigaraki covered his ears due to the shrieking sound of the old door.

"We can hear you, you dumb brat! You don't need to shout!" Shigaraki scolded him.

"But you're shouting too."

"Don't play smart with me."

"I'm not. You're just-"

Before Reverse got to finish his sentence, Kurogiri interrupted them.

"Ahem. We should get going now. The doctor is waiting for us." the cloud man said, wanting to distract the two from their argument.

"Okay." said Rev with a smile. "Hmph." Shiggy grunted.

Kurogiri, who is standing beside Shigaraki, raised his right hand towards a wall. A purple portal that looks like it's made of smoke started to appear.

"Come on." Kurogiri gestured for them to follow him as he walked into the portal. The two of them also followed the older man.

At the other side of the portal, they meet Dr. Ujiko, who is standing right in front of them a few feet away. They are currently standing at a long corridor with only little lights.

Dr. Ujiko is holding his hands behind his back and his right foot is tapping the grey cemented floor. Seems like he's been waiting far too long judging by his elderly temper and also how both his eyebrows are so close to connect with each other.

Reverse decided to lighten the situation with a smile and greeted him.

"Hi Uncle Uchiko! Long time no see."

Unc- I mean Dr. Ujiko was about to snapped at the nickname but decided to calm down with an 'ahem'.

"You're supposed to be here two hours ago. And stop calling me with that ridiculous name. You're old enough to know how to speak it properly." Dr. Ujiko scolded him.

"That's not just a name. That's a nickname. You should be honoured to have it." Reverse said back, ignoring the first statement.

Since little Rev started staying here, he would call Dr. Ujiko as Uncle Uchiko. At first, he wanted to call him Gramps but got scolded for calling him that. And that was also when he got his first experience being grounded, courtesy from Papagiri.

"Greetings, Dr. Ujiko." Kurogiri greeted him formally as always. Shigaraki on the other hand, didn't even greet him. He just stuff his hands into his hoodie pocket.

"We're sorry we're late." Kurogiri apologized for their behalf. The old man just sighed and told them to follow him. They walk through a long grey corridor that has lightless lights.

"Is it just me or is this place getting gloomy every time we come here?" Reverse ask, more like a statement, noticing the flickering lights on the ceiling.

"Why? You're scared?" Shigaraki mocked him.

Hearing the word 'scared', Reverse feel slightly annoyed.

"No. Do you?" Reverse mocked back, trying to calm his mind from the build up rage. His eyes are about to turned into a fiery amber colour until he heard his Uncle.

Their argument didn't go unnoticed by the two older men. As much as the old doctor want to ignore them, they are in an underground lab where there are flammable things being contained.

And by the word 'flammable', you should know what comes after next.

He finally decided to stop them.
