Beca's POV

I wake up with a frown looking around to see that I fell asleep at my desk, I groan feeling and ache in my back as I stand up ready to walk downstairs.

I walk into the living room to see Mom and her boyfriend cuddled up on the couch, she's got her head on his chest while he has an arm around her with his hand on her waist while Jack is sleeping next to her.

"Good morning." Mom smiles and I groan flopping on the other couch.

Me and Chloe stayed up until like 3 am just texting. "Any news on Lucy?" I ask and Mom nods. "Are you gonna tell me or what?"

"She had a baby girl, I'm not sure if they've decided on a name yet but we're going to see them this afternoon."

I hum looking over at Jack who's now looking at me with his little eyes cracked open. "Hey Jack." I laugh and he buries his face in the cushion. "Can I have a cuddle before I go to school?"

Jack slides off the couch and toddles over to me with his arms up. "Uppie."

I lift him up onto the couch with a smile. "Are you gonna be a good big brother?" He nods, Jack is 1 year and 10 months so he's almost 2 in other words. "Yeah, are you gonna share Mommy and Daddy?"

"No!"

We all laugh at his answer as my phone starts ringing. "Hey Chloe."

"Hi." Chloe says in her usual sweet tone.

"Is there a reason you're calling?"

"Oh yeah!" Chloe gasps making me laugh. "You're late to school and me, you, Stacie and Aubrey are in a group for a history project."

I frown. "The fuck do you mean I'm late for school?"

"School started at 7, it's almost 10."

I gasp hanging up. "I'm 3 fucking hours late to school." Mom frowns checking the time. "Fuck."

Chloe's POV

It's now lunch and Beca still isn't here. "Oh she's here." Stacie says, we turn around to see her walking into the cafeteria as Maddison walks over to her.

"What are you doing here, faggot?" The blonde girl asks and Beca just rolls her eyes. "Answer me you fag."

At this point everyone in the room is listening in. "Yo, I get it. You're still upset that you cheated on me and I fucked your sister but you really need to get over me Maddison, that was over 2 years ago now."

Everyone gasps and Maddison looks around with wide eyes. "I am not gay!"

Beca looks over to us and wiggles her eyebrows before grabbing the blondes face and pulling her into a kiss. Maddison lets out a scream and runs to the door. "YOU NEED SOME CHAPSTICK!" Beca yells after her before walking over to us with a proud smirk while she wipes her mouth. "Her lips are dry as fuck."

We all laugh while she sits down. "Why'd you kiss her?" Jesse asks.

"I'll do whatever it takes to piss her off." Beca shrugs. "But ew she's always had dry fucking lips."

"So Beca we can start the history project today?" Stacie asks and the brunette nods. "Cool, whose house?"

We all shrug. "You guys can come to my place but it'll have to be at like 5 cause I'm meant to be meeting my baby cousin after school."

We're all now upstairs in Beca's living room, Jack is also in the room with us playing with Stacie's hair. "I don't get this." Beca huffs.
