Beca's POV

Amelia and I both stare at the tv screen sitting at the edge of the couch watching Julie Foudy about to score when the tv switches off. "What the fuck!?" Mia yells throwing her arms up earning a loud giggle from Harvey who's sitting up on the floor with Chloe, Stacie and Dylan.

It's been a whole year now meaning in just a week I will be in my senior year of high school. Mine and Chloe's relationship has been amazing, we make sure we go on at least two proper dates a month and we both make sure to make time for our friends.

Chloe and Aubrey are now the co-captains of the Barden Bella cheer squad which is pretty cool, Stacie quit the Bella's and joined the soccer team with me which I'm now the captain of, it's pretty awesome... life is pretty awesome.

I forgot to mention that around Christmas time I got myself a record deal at the one and only Warner Records, you know the same record label that huge names like Frank Sinatra, Madonna, Coldplay, Metallica, Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, Linkin Park, Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks all use/used so that's also great, I have to go out to LA once a month, sometimes more depending on if I have to record or if I have tons of meetings but that's not too bad because I have an apartment out there which is the label paid for.

My music career is really taking off, some weeks up making about 10,000 dollars which is mind blowing but great. Every time I go out one of my songs is either playing on the radio in a mall, store or people cars which is even crazier.

Soon I'm gonna be making an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' and that's terrifying seen as it'll be the first time the public will see my face and I'm just an awkward person in general. The part I'm most worried about is getting overwhelmed, recently when that's happened I just shut down for a couple of hours and stop talking, I don't want that to happen on national television.

"Stop cussing! And I'm sure the fuse just blew-" Mom scolds even though Harv is only one he's at the age where he's learning to talk and Mom doesn't want his first word to be 'shit' like mine was. "-which is most likely your fault because of how much of that crappy sport stuff you both watch."

"Sports is not crappy!" I defend earning a disapproving hum from Mom and Chloe. "Fine, guess who's not invited to my soccer games anymore... you two."

Chloe just giggles turning to look at me. "I'm one of the cheerleaders, dummy. I have to be there anyway I like seeing you play just watching sport on tv is boring."

I purse my lips eyeing her to make sure she's not lying. "Whatever you say Beale but if I catch you sleeping behind the bleachers you're dead." The ginger rolls her eyes trying to hold her smile back at my 'threat'.

"Whatever you say, Becs."

Stacie gasps and turns to me with a huge grin, I give her a strained look which she ignores before speaking up. "You know how you're now a big deal now or whatever." I go to open my mouth but she cuts me off. "Yes, perfect anyway you know how I'm the hottest person you kno-"

"Incorrect."

The brunette rolls her eyes carrying on. "Fine second hottest basically I've been trying to get into the modelling industry but basically all of them you need to have a famous connection and need to prove that you aren't lying..."

"You want me to speak to the agency?" She nods awkwardly. "Sure just right down their email and I'll send it over to my manager for her to do it." Stacie looks over at me confused. "My manager does all the business side of stuff, that includes contacting other agencies, celebrities and shit like that because she doesn't trust me to do that without swearing at the person."

"Smart woman." Stacie hums earning a glare from me. "What? She is, you'd probably destroy your career if you were allowed to handle the business side of it all."

I tilt my head to the side deciding not to argue since it's 100% true, as much as I love to annoy my manager she is great at her job. "Speak of the devil." I huff when she walks into the room.

Harvey squeals lifting his arms up towards her, Lea smiles lifting him onto her hip. She comes around here almost everyday with updates on my schedule and my siblings love her. "I just spoke to the team at Ellen and basically your episode is the week you go back go school but on the Wednesday so we're flying out to Burbank on the Monday and flying back here Friday."

"Firstly where's 'Burbank' and secondly why the whole week?"

"Burbank is LA, so you can still stay in your apartment or get a hotel room which is closer to the studio and the whole week because you have a meeting on Tuesday, filming Wednesday, nothing Thursday and another meeting before we fly back on Friday."

I sigh leaning back on the couch. "Why do I have two meetings so close together?"

"Because you're new to the scene and there's still tons of things you need to get done like concerts, even if they're small to start with but we also need to talk boundaries..."

I narrow my eyes slightly at the tone that she uses. "What do you mean 'boundaries'?"

"If you get invited to parties you need to clear it with me because I need to know who is throwing the party and where." Sending her a confused look she puffs out her cheeks before carrying on. "Parties in Hollywood aren't what you'd think... there's lots of bad people there, I've seen these parties destroy many people, even kill them. There's people there, they'll spot a young vulnerable person like you and they'll pressure you into trying all these disgusting drugs and you'll get hooked. It happens almost every time and you won't be able to recover because every time you get sober there'll be someone getting you hooked on them again and again and again until eventually it kills you or worse you kill yourself."

"Serious!?"

Lea nod, giving me a tight lipped expression. "You know all these actors, singers or whatever who have died from overdoses?" I nod slowly. "90% of them got hooked from parties, they don't care who you are or how old you are they just want money out of you."

I scrunch my nose up in disgust. "That's just... ew. People seriously do that?" My manager nods giving me a little smile. "No Hollywood parties for me then... unless-"

"Nope, I'm not taking you to any of those parties." I huff falling back on the couch again earning a laugh from everyone. "That's all I had to say really. Need me to contact anyone or do anything?" I look to Stacie and Lea follows my gaze and sighs. "Need me to contact a modelling agency?"

"Wait how'd you know?" The brunette gasps.

I smirk knowing what's gonna come out of my managers mouth. "Big tits, pretty face, long legs, flat stomach. Need I go on?"

Stacie grins turning to me. "I like your manager, don't make her quit."

"She loves Dylan and Harvey too much to quit and she loves bullying me so I doubt she will." Lea nods in agreement while Harvey loudly babbles random noises to her. "I need to go buy some new pens for school, anyone coming?"

Chloe's POV

I giggle watching Harvey trying to push Beca's face away while she kisses his cheek over and over just trying to annoy him. "So Hobbit..." I send my best friend a glare at the nickname she's given my girlfriend but Aubrey just shrugs and carries on. "What are you gonna do if Ellen DeGeneres asks if you're dating someone? Especially seen as a couple of the songs you've released are love songs."

"Haven't thought about it. Probably just tell the truth, I don't have anything to be ashamed about." The brunette gives me a soft smile earning the cheesiest grin out of me. "Anyway the meeting on Tuesday is basically my boss and manager going over stuff I can and can't say so we'll see what happens there but I'll probably end up ignoring whatever they say-" Harvey starts yelling at the top of his voice and throwing his arms about. "What's your problem, little man?"

He scrunches up his face and starts smiling again. "Baba raa."

Beca nods slowly. "You want something to eat, dude? Ah I'll take that as a yes." She laughs at him squealing. "Cmon then, let's go find you something."
