As I took the girl's order, I asked her name while making her coffee.

"So, what's your name?" I asked, only focused on pouring the hot water into the cup. As the hit sensation of the boiling water greats my face.

"Pham Hanni," she responded, appearing a smile on the corner of her mouth.

"Well, may I ask why are you here?" I asked again.

"To take some local coffee." She answered checking on her phone.

"I don't see you around here though," I answered, laying her freshly-made coffee on the counter.

"Gosh, so many questions?" She asked,

"Well, what can I say? You got me interested in you." I said joking, making her chuckle as she took the coffee and sat on  her table.

"You sit," she offered pointing at the other free chair.

"I'm an employee, in case you forgot." I said making her pretty gummy smile appear.

"Nah, don't mind it." She responded "alright." I spoke sitting on the chair between the table.

"If you wonder, I'm just new here. Mind if you take me on a tour someday?" She spoke first.

Even though she looks like the girl with a kid, I saw few years ago. They look alike, the girl and the kid were holding hands laughing. I thought they looked so cute making me smile. But I just assumed it was someone else not her. Since she just said she was new here with her friend, danielle as she told the name of the girl who is haerin's currently pa (personal assistant).

After for a few minutes of talking and getting to know basic information about each other except I didn't told her about my family, my abusive family.

When we were talking for 30 minutes ,my manager had to call me out to serve at customers I didn't even noticed entered the store, making the girl in front of me laugh, and cackle. I was embarrassed for fuck sake. I apologize at the customer and took their order and maked them the drink they wanted, in the meanwhile Hanni was smiling at me. That damn girl.

After that Mr. Yang, My manager asked if I could talk to him, I did said yes but I gestured hanni first to wait for a minute, she gestured back with a thumbs up (👍 or 👌) .

Once me and mr. Yang got in the employees only room, he had a mischievous smirk.

"Minji-ah, why didn't you told me you had a girlfriend?" He asked,acting upset while crossing his arms, making me flustered by the question.

"What, no! Mr. Yang you misunderstood, she just a stranger... Or.. A friend?" I asked my self on the last sentence.

"Whatever, just focus on any customers coming, alright?" He smiled.

"Yes, sir!" I saluted him, joking around him felt like he was my 2nd father.

He chuckled.

As I was about to exit the room he shouted. "Anyways, I'll be rooting for you two!" He shouted.

— "ugh! Mr. Yang!" I said pretending to be annoyed.

He chuckled before I closed the door. I could noticed the girl staring at me as I closed the door to the employees room..

I walked my way back to the girl.

"Sorry." I spoke as I sat again.

"Huh? It's alright." She said.

After that, talking with that girl wasn't bad at all. Even though she randomly knows my name. We were the same age,I was only a few months old.
