"Do you really have to do this?" Naiinis na sabi sakin ni Robby habang nakatayo sa gilid ko.He's trying to convince me to stop what I'm planning to do.
I bit my lip. He's getting into my nerves. Mamaya lang ay babarilin ko na toh.With my stoic face I faced him. Binugahan ko sya ng usok mula sa sigarilyo ko.
"Please Liv, don't do this to yourself. Do you think mamahalin ka ni Adler if you do this? Just please stop this now."
But no. I'm not just gonna stop and just give up Adler. He's mine to begin with. Kung hindi lang umepal yan si Selena and went between the two of us, we might be happy right now. But I didn't say out loud. He won't understand where I'm coming from. I invested so much in this. Tapos aagawan ako. I cannot accept that. Especially a lowlife like her will do like that to me. Hindi ako papayag. I'm not Liselle Ivana Monterealba for nothing.
Few minutes later I spotted Selena getting off a taxi. It's already 1 am at alam kong malelate sya ng uwi dahil mag oovertime sya. Of course I know. She works in my dad's company. Kung hindi lang naman sa lecheng engineer na yun hindi nya makikilala si Adler. That's why I have to put him in his place. And this girl will be next.
I straightened my back leaning on my car when I saw the taxi drove away. I here in the other side of the street just across her house. She was living in this small dump just outside metro with her family .It's not even a decent place. Rough road ang kalsada at medyo madamo. Wala din silang masyadong kalapit na bahay. Such a pathetic loser. The more that she doesn't deserve my Adler.
"Selena" I have to call her. She was talking on the phone with someone that's why she didn't notice me standing in front of her.
"Miss Liv!" Nanlaki ang mata at nataranta pa sya ng kaunti ng mapansin nya ang presensya ko.I smirked. That's it you wh*re. Cower before me.
I grabbed her arm and dragged her in a dark corner. She was stumbling behind me. Pabalang ko syang binitawan kaya napaupo sya sa lupa.Nanlaki ang mata nya ng bumunot ako ng baril. Naramdaman ko naman ang presensya ni Robby sa likod ko.
"Miss Liv, parang awa nyo na wag nyo pong gawin to." Pagsusumamo ni Selena. Annoying. Such a damsel in distress.
"You know what Selena? I think you deserve this." I was about to pull the trigger when Robby interrupted.
"Liv, not this way please."
"Shut up Rob! You know why I'm doing this. She doesn't deserve Adler. Look at how a low life she is. She's way out of his league." I shouted.
"Pero Liv, It's not even worth it. Do you think you can even get away with it?" I smirked. I threw a glance at Robby who's now on my side.
" Of course Robby. You know I can." My family is rich. No that's an understatement. We literally own an empire. Legally and illegally. I can actually just hire someone to do this for me. But this is too personal for me. That's why I decided to do this myself.
I looked backed at Selena. She's still sobbing habang nakaupo sa lupa. I crouched a little and use the tip of the gun to lift up her face so that I can see her properly.
"Alam mo, di naman kasi dapat umabot sa ganito eh. Kung hindi ka lang sana dumating eh di masaya pa sana kami ni Adler. He loved me. He would never hurt me if wasn't for you." I laughed sarcastically.
"Everything was so smooth between us. I even thought that he was about to propose to me you know. But you ruined it. Now he's confused. So that's why I need to remove the cause of confusion. And then problem solved right" Nginitian ko pa sya bago itinutok sa ulo nya ang baril.
I heard a tire screech out of nowhere. Looks like someone was in a hurry. Bahagya pa akong nagulat ng makitang si Adler ang bumaba sa sasakyan. nakita ko ang pagguhit ng pag aalala sa mukha nya ng makita ang kalagayan ni Selena. There was so much love on his eyes for her.
